Handle Release Button Fig 2 Attaching the Floor Nozzle to the Hand Vac e Insert the floor brush into MR the air intake opening ri e To remove the floor nozzle from the hand vac pull the floor nozzle straight out from the hand vac Fig 3 Attaching the Crevice Brush to the Hand Vac Hold the end of the crevice brush Insert the crevice brush into the air intake opening of the unit Fig 4 A G Fig 4 e For a longer reach the M crevice brush can be H used with the unit ij assembled as a stick vacuum Fig 5 e To remove the dusting brush pull straight out from the air intake opening Winding amp Unwinding the Power Cord This unit is equipped with a convenient cord storage feature The power cord winds around the two cord holders at the back of the unit The top one has a quick cord release feature Turn the cord holder to the left or the right to remove the power cord Fig 6 Fig 6 On Off Switch The On Off switch has two different positions e Push on the I side to turn the vacuum ON e Push on the O side to turn the vacuum OFF OFF ON OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Using the Unit as an Upright Note When vacuuming deep pile carpets or hard to vacuum carpets lower the angle of the vacuum handle see illustration at right for easier maneuverability Ensure that the dust cup filter is installed in the dust cup container Un

5. ing LLC is limited solely to the cost of the repair or replacement of the unit at our option This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts and does not apply to any unit that has been tampered with or used for commercial purposes This limited warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse abuse negligent handling or damage due to faulty packaging or mishandling in transit This warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by or resulting from damages from shipping or repairs service or alterations to the product or any of its parts which have been performed by a repair person not authorized by EURO PRO Operating LLC This warranty is extended to the original purchaser of the unit and excludes all other legal and or conventional warranties The responsibility of EURO PRO Operating LLC if any is limited to the specific obligations expressly assumed by it under the terms of the limited warranty In no event is EURO PRO Operating LLC liable for incidental or consequential damages of any nature whatsoever Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above may not apply to you This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from province to province Important Carefully pack item to avoid damage in shipping Be sure to include proof of purchase date and to attach tag to item before packing with your name complete address and phone number
6. n Off button once Disconnect the plug from the power source Check the source of overheating problem i e clogged hose or filter PROBLEM VACUUM WILL NOT OPERATE VACUUM WILL NOT PICK UP OR SUCTION POWER IS WEAK DUST ESCAPING FROM VACUUM BRUSH OR FLOOR NOZZLE WILL NOT PICK UP Power cord not firmly plugged into outlet No power in wall outlet Needs servicing Thermostat has tripped Dust cup is full Unit clogged Filter needs cleaning or replacing Dust cup is full Dust cup is not installed correctly Filter is not in unit Brush or floor nozzle is clogged Dust cup is full Filter need cleaning or replacing e If clogged hose or filter is found unclog the hose and replace the filters e Wait at least 45 minutes before attempting to reuse the vacuum e After unit has cooled down for 45 minutes plug in the cleaner and push the On Off button The vacuum should start again e f the vacuum still does not start contact customer service at 1 800 798 7398 POSSIBLE SOLUTION Plug unit in firmly Check fuse or breaker Replace fuse reset breaker Call 1 800 798 7398 Turn the unit off and unplug from outlet Allow unit to cool down then restart Empty and clean dust cup Turn unit off and unplug from wall outlet Remove dust cup filter and check for object s in the air intake opening and remove Clean or replace filter Empty and clean dust cup Review dust cup inst

8. ructions Install filter in unit Remove brush and or floor nozzle Remove obstruction from brush and or floor nozzle Empty and clean dust cup Clean or replace filter PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES IMPORTANT If the suction opening in the unit or the nozzle is BLOCKED switch off the vacuum cleaner and remove the blocking substance before you start the unit again 1 Do not operate the vacuum cleaner 4 When pulling out the power plug too close to heaters radiators or from the wall outlet pull the plug not cigarette butts the power cord 5 Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking such as cigarettes matches or hot ashes 2 Before inserting the power plug into the wall outlet make sure that your hands are dry EN e a 5 6 Do not use without filter in place 3 Before you start vacuuming make sure to remove large or sharp objects that might damage the dust cup OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Warning Always remove the power plug from the wall outlet before assembling or removing accessories Inserting the Vacuum Handle into the Hand Vac e Push down on the vacuum handle release button then insert the vacuum handle into the opening above the hand vac handle Fig 1 Handle Release Button gt e To remove the vacuum handle press down on the vacuum handle release button and pull the pole up while Vacuum Handle Fig 1 securely holding the hand vac handle Fig 2 Vacuum

10. wind the power cord 2 and plug into the Hf 120V outlet 7 to the On position and vacuum Press the On Off switch OY j Important Do NOT use the vacuum without the filter in place Using the Unit as a Hand Vacuum Ensure that the unit is unplugged before removing parts or performing maintenance Press the vacuum handle release button and pull handle to remove Pull the floor nozzle out from the hand vac Attach the crevice brush to the end of the hand vac if desired Press the On Off switch to the on position to vacuum Changing amp Cleaning the Dust Cup Filter To achieve the best performance empty the dust cup container and clean the dust cup filter after each use 1 To remove the dust cup container press down on the dust cup release button and pull off the dust cup container Fig 7 Dust Cup Release Button LR Fig 7 2 Empty the dust from the dust cup container Fig 8 3 Pull off the dust cup filter Fig 9 Fig 9 N 4 Rinse the dust cup filter in cold water and then wait until it air dries completely before replacing it back into the dust cup container Do not use a washing machine to clean the dust cup filter Do not use a hair dryer to dry it Air dry only 5 Replace the dust cup filter carefully into the dust cup container NEVER operate vacuum cleaner without dust cup filter in place 6 Attach the dust cup container to the vacuum Note It is
