12. d cleaned of fluff if necessary 6 To do this grip the top of the large mesh filter and pull it forwards un til it comes loose from the two brackets 7 Remove fluff from the entire filter area It is best to use a vacuum cleaner for this purpose 8 Press both journals of the large mesh filter into the brackets on the loading door until they snap into place 9 Re insert fine strainer until it locks into the interlock If the fine strainer is not fitted the large mesh filter will not snap into place and the loading door cannot be closed Emptying the condensate tank N 3 Pull drawer containing condensate Pull out condensate tank s outlet Empty condensate tank after every drying cycle If the condensate tank is full an active programme will break off auto matically and the X2 EMPTY WATER display will light up In order to continue the programme the condensate tank must first be emptied Warning The condensate is not suitable for drinking or for preparing foodstuffs tank out all the way connections and pour condensate out into basin or other suitable container Slide outlet connections in and re fit condensate tank If the programme has been inter rupted as a result of the conden sate tank being full Press the lt gt XO START PAUSE button to continue the drying cycle Th
13. e condensate tank has a volume of approx 4 litres This is sufficient for around 6kg of laundry which has previously been spun at 800 revo lutions minute The condensate can be used as distilled water e g for steam ironing However first filter the condensate e g with a coffee filter to remove any residue and small pieces of fluff 17 Cleaning heat exchanger If the HEAT EXCHANGER display is illuminated the heat exchanger needs to be cleaned A Caution Operating when the heat exchanger is clogged with lint can damage the dryer This also increases energy consumption 1 Open loading door 2 Open base door To do this press TA release button on the dient p of the loading opening and open we the door to the left 3 Remove lint from the inside of the door and the heat exchange cham ber 4 Turn both lock washers inwards 5 Pull heat exchanger out of base by the handle AS Caution Do not use sharp objects to clean The heat exchanger could develop leaks 6 Clean heat exchanger It is best to use a brush or to rinse thoroughly with a shower head 7 Replace heat exchanger and lock into place turn both lock washers outwards until they snap into place 8 Close base door lil The dryer will not operate if the base door is not closed A Caution Never operate the dryer without the heat exchanger
