5. off the projector and allow the projector to cool thoroughly 2 Disconnect the AC cord from the projector 3 Remove screw with a screwdriver and disconnect the lamp cover 4 Remove 2 screws with a screwdriver and pull out the lamp assembly by rasping the handie 5 Replace the lamp assembly 6 Tighten 3 screws to secure the lamp cover to the lamp assembly 7 Connect the detachable AC cord to the projector LAMP REPLACEMENT INDICATOR LAMP ASSEMBLY HANDLE Reset the lamp replacement monitor timer See LAMP AGE section on page 46 NOTE Do not reset the LAMP REPLACEMENT MONITOR TIMER except after the lamp is replaced CLEANING THE LENS Follow these steps to clean the projection lens 1 Use a non abrasive camera lens cleaner with a soft dry cleaning cioth Avoid using an excessive amount of cleaner Abrasive cleaners solvents or other harsh chemicals might make scratch on the lens 2 Lightly wipe the cleaning cloth over the lens TROUBLESHOOTING No power Plug the projector into an AC outlet the MAINS ON OFF button to ON sure the READY INDICATOR light is ON NOTE After pressing the LAMP POWER ON OFF button to OFF The projector functions as follows 1 The LAMP POWER indicator will light and the READY indicator will turn off 2 After one minute the READY indicator will light green again and the projector can be turned on by pressing the LAMP POWER ON OFF button
