Thermanator with power cord 1 piece Stands 2 pieces Plastic Saddle clamps w self locking nuts 2 sets Hex wrench 1 each 1 Screws 4 pieces 2 Screws 6 pieces Plastic wall anchor 4 pieces Wall mounting brackets 2 pieces Screw cover 4 pieces white Assembly Mounting Instructions Self Standing Locate the two stands two plastic saddle clamps and the two self locking nuts Place the upper saddles over the top of the main metal tube as illustrated and push the bolts through the lower saddle clamp pinning the main metal tube be tween Guide the stands onto each set of bolts as illustrated See Figure 1 and Semi tighten the four self locking nuts Position the stand so the toe of the boot or shoe is the highest point adjust Thermanator as necessary to an up right position Firmly tighten 4 self locking nuts with Hex wrench provided Helpful Tips 1 Do not place soaking wet shoes on drying tubes as they may drain water on the power cord creating a potential hazard Drain until dripping stops washed or soaking wet shoes as much as possible before placing on Thermanator drying tubes When placing boots or shoes or gloves onto drying tubes open garment as much as possible to facilitate air circulation Do not pinch or block passageway into garment When placing gloves or mittens or children s boots and shoes onto the drying tubes be sure not to block or pinch air

3. circulation We recommend all footwear be dried after every use to help prevent bacteria and fungus development and growth the primary cause of odor Smaller footwear and garments will dry quicker than larger items Your Eco Friendly energy efficient DryGuy Thermanator heats to a gentle temperature using radiant heat quietly and quickly drying wet garments with no damage to sensitive garments At first you may suspect the unit is not operating properly We recommend you place the back of your hand near the drying tube so you will better feel the gentle warmth Operation Time Drying time varies depending upon extent of moisture temperature and humidity and size of footwear and garments We normally recommend a minimum of one hour drying time every time your boots are used While in operation the unit although relatively quiet produces minimal noise This is a normal condition and does not indicate a problem Maintenance Use only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean the DryGuy Thermanator Never let any liquid get inside the motor never immerse any part of the motor into liquid GENERAL SAFETY RULES AN A WARNING READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL INSTRUCTIONS Failure to follow all instructions listed may result in electric shock fire and or seri ous personal injury SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS D AREA OF USE e Keep surrounding area clean and well lit Cluttered areas invite accidents e Do not operate in explosive atmosph

7. le for outdoor use e An extension cord must have adequate wire size AWG or American Wire Gauge for safety and to prevent loss of power and overheating The smaller the gauge number of the wire the greater the capacity of the cable that is 16 gauge has more capacity than 18 gauge When using more than one extension to make up the total length be sure each extension contains at leas the minimum wire size e DryGuy Thermanator has a polarized plug one blade is wider than the other as required by Underwriters Laboratories To reduce the risk of electric shock this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet reverse the plug If it still does not fit contact a qualified electrician Do not modify the plug in any way WALL MOUNT INSTRUCTIONS Wall mount installation does not require stands Locate the two plastic saddle clamps two self locking nuts and two metal wall mount brackets Place the upper saddle clamps over the top of the main metal tube as illustrated and push the bolts through the lower saddle clamp pinning the main metal tube between Guide the wall mount brackets onto each set of bolts as illustrated See Figure 2 Guide the white metal wall mount brackets onto the bolts and semi tighten the four self locking nuts Place the Thermanator against the wall power cord on left and adjust the wall mounting brackets to 16 on center common distance between wall s

9. tuds is 16 OC and level contact with the wall Further adjust Thermanator so drying tubes are approximately 11 to 12 inches away from the wall and securely tighten the four self locking nuts making sure not to move saddle clamps out of alignment With saddle clamps securely tightened locate wall studs and measure up from the floor to a desired level mark the wall where you want to mount the unit again making sure you ve found the wall studs and pre drill screw holes with the appropriate size drill bit If wall stud spacing is not appropriate for proper mounting insert the suitable size molly bolt for hollow walls following the Molly bolt manufacturers instructions Place clear screw cap cover washer onto screws Figure 3 and securely screw completed Thermanator assembly into pre drilled holes in the wall or Molly bolts When complete and secure push white finish plastic cap to cover screws Important e When wall mounting Thermanator Fig 2 face unit So power cord is positioned on the left not on the right as pictured on package e When mounting Thermanators in multiple tiers allow a minimum of 18 between the horizontal main metal tubes In Line Switch indication e Switch can be pressed down from either side as shown on switch itself Fig 5 Do not open switch and keep switch away from all water e Press Green knob down to the switch body to turn on the Thermanator press White knob down to turn off Please
