When printing via infrared communication confirm that the infrared or angle is improper communication ports on both the machine and the mobile phone are facing each other at the proper angle and distance and that there is nothing to block the communication between them and then try printing again The proper distance and angle for communication vary depending on the specifications of your mobile phone and computer and on the external environment Place the mobile phone within 20 cm of the machine for proper communication During infrared communication If infrared communication between the infrared ports of the machine and infrared rays were interrupted or the mobile phone is interrupted by any obstacle for about ten seconds or another infrared communication longer during printing the paper on which the data is being printed is device is operating nearby ejected and the machine is reset Remove the obstacle and retry printing If an infrared communication device is operating nearby interference can occur and the document may fail to print to the end While printing a document through infrared communication do not operate another infrared communication devices such as the remote controller for a TV nearby The version of the infrared The infrared communication function of this machine is only compatible communication port being used is with mobile phones with IrDA compliant infrared communication ports not compatible with IrDA Pr

20. the printer error from the camera confirm the message displayed on the LCD of the machine and clear the error For clearing errors from the machine see An Error Message Is Displayed On The LCD on page 99 A communication time out occurs if printing takes a long time or if it takes too long to send the data This may stop the printing In such cases disconnect the cable between the machine and the camera and reconnect the cable between the machine and the camera Then turn the camera on if it has not automatically turned itself on If the problem is still unresolved select some other photo and check if it can be printed or not Your PictBridge compatible device may need to be switched to printing mode before it is connected to the machine depending on the model of the device Also it may need to be turned on manually or switched to replay mode after being connected to the machine Refer to the instruction manuals supplied with your camera and take the necessary steps before connection The FINE Cartridge nozzles may be clogged if printing becomes faint or the colors are incorrect See When Printing Becomes Faint Or Color Is Incorrect on page 85 If the paper is curled or its surface is scratched during printing make sure that you are using the correct type of paper For errors indicated on the camera and their solutions also refer to the user s manual of the camera For other problems associated with a digital camera contac
