2. 1 16 CROWN STAPLES CHISEL POINT USES Framework wood and rattan furniture making repair soffit work cabinet making upholstery work amp and padding installation Installation and repair of barbed wire fencing with wooden posts etc Interior decorations repairs etc Assembly of displays frames bulletin boards etc HOW TO USE YOUR ELECTRIC STAPLER TO LOAD STAPLES 1 Push the stop lever down and puli out staple magazine 2 Load staples from side of magazine 3 Close magazine CAUTION Once the staples are loaded be very careful and do not point stapler at anyone HOW TO USE STAPLER 1 Be sure the tacking mouth is positioned fiat onto the workpiece and the both of them are forming a right 90 angle 2 If workpiece is extra hard press down on rear cover of stapler with free hand 3 If workpiece is very soft hold the stapler lightly to avoid having the staple penetrate too deeply into workpiece NOTE In the event of tacking failure on first shot see Test and Repair section of this manual AVOID BLANK SHOTS THEY COULD SHORTEN COMPONENT LIFE OF TOOL WARNING Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields when operating your stapler Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into your eyes resulting in possible serious injury WARNING Do not allow familiarity with your stapler to make you careless Remember that a careless fraction of a second

9. is sufficient to inflict severe injury TEST AND REPAIR 1 In case of tacking failure first check power source and switct CAUTION THE STAPLER MUST BE DISCONNECTED FROM THF ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY FOR THE FOLLOWING OPERA 2 Dirty and or deformed staples can cause jamming When jamming pull out staple magazine to clear away jammed staples S 3 If there is a loss of impact power gt remove rear cover and check inside coil spring for bends or breakage 4 If there is an excess of metallic impact noise remove rear cover and check to see if driver is worm out Replace driver is necessary 5 REAR COVER INSTALLATION A Tur the striking pin so that it will fit into guide See Fig 1 B Push down on striking pin so that the tip sticks out past the tacking mouth See Fig 2 C When the striking pin is correctly positioned into the guide hold it down temporarily with your hand D Insert a screwdriver through back cover making sure i holds the striking pad all the way down Then lock the rea cover tightly See Fig 3 CAUTION If the striking rm pin is not correctly positioned in core a care the guide the pin may bend due ti improper assembly Fa E Lock the rear cover securely NOTE If trouble persists bring the tool to the nearest Stanley Service Center for inspection and repair CN En uns Lie RRA ADVERTENCIA Al usar herramientas el ctricas siempre deben tomarse las precauciones b sicas de se
