BOGEN COMMUNICATIONS INC PAGING LOUDSPEAKER SPT 5A SP5 8A DESCRIPTION TABLE I SPT 5A SELECTOR SWITCH SETTINGS The Bogen Models SPT 5A and SP5 8A are compact high intel ligibility reflex horn type loudspeakers designed for one or two Watts 25V Watts way sound and communication systems Their sturdy weatherproof all metal housing permits indoor and outdoor installation The Model SPT 5A has a built in variable tap impedance selector switch for matching the speaker power requirements to a 25V or 7OV constant voltage line Model SP5 8A has an 8 ohm impedance MOUNTING INSTALLATION The detachable mounting base can be used as a template to mark SETTING THE VARIABLE TAP SELECTOR SWITCH the mounting surface the base has curved slots and the horn can SPT SA be pivoted to adjust for optimum projection A slotted shaft located on the tip assembly is used to operate a WIRING five position selector switch The wattage provided at each selector position is shown on the decal affixed to the rear of the speaker A 12 inch two conductor cable ribbed for phasing is provided and in Table I with each unit BOGEN COMMUNICATIONS ING 50 SPRING STREET P O Box 575 RAMSEY NJ 07446 201 934 8500 Printed in U S A 9001 54 5863 01
