Se si desidera conoscere esattamente la profondit di campo ad una certa apertura ba sta guardare la scala delle profondit di campo h Nella foto soprastante la scala di stanza a 15 piedi cio l obiettivo a fuoco su un soggetto a 15 piedi di distanza Le calibrazioni da ambo le parti sulla scala distanze g corrispondono all apertura del dia framma ed indicano la porzione di spazio a fuoco per le diverse aperture dell obiettivo Per esempio se l obiettivo aperto a f 8 la profondit di campo viene indicata fra i due numeri 8 sulla scala distanze Si noter sulla scala profondit di campo della foto grafia di sopra che lo spazio a fuoco fra i 10 e 25 piedi Naturalmente cambiando l apertura del diaframma cambia l effettiva profondit di campo Per le varie profondit di campo alle varie aperture e distanze vedere a pag 13 Guida mnemonica pellicola in uso La sensibilit in ASA viene citata per ogni pellicola Con l aumentare del numero ASA si aumenta la sensibilit della pellicola Per esempio per due film di ASA 50 e ASA 200 la pellicola di 50 ASA richiede 4 volte il tempo di esposizione della pellicola a 200 ASA Usare la guida mnemonica della pellica in uso per ricordare il film che si introdotto nell apparecchio Basta spostare l indice z e far collimare il punto rosso sul numero ASA della pellicola in uso Usare i numeri bianchi per bianco e nero i numeri verdi per film a colori od altre pellicole speciali

6. 0 to M manual position and view your focused subject by turning the diaphragm ring D FILM LOADING Avoid direct sunlight when loading your film Open the back by pulling out the lock Pull out the film rewind knob completely place the film cassette into the cassette chamber and push back the rewind knob Draw out the film leader and insert it into the slit of the take up spool If the slit is not in a proper position to insert the film leader turn the take up spool with your finger Turn the rapid wind lever and make sure that both sprockets 9 have properly engaged the film perforations Close the back and fasten the lock FILM WIND AND REWIND 1 Betore turning the rapid wind lever p slowly turn the film rewind knob clockwise until a slight resistance is felt This prevents loosening or warping of the film 2 The first portions of the film can not be used for picture taking as they have already been exposed to light Generally two blank exposures should be made before taking your first picture Cock the rapid wind lever until it stops Watch to see that the film rewind knob automatically turns counter clockwise indicating that the film is moving from cassette to take up spool Trip the shutter Cock the rapid wind lever and trip the shutter again Your camera is now ready for the first picture When cocking the rapid wind lever for the first picture the exposure counter auto

9. HAND METHOD When it is not practical to take a close up reading try a substitute reading by using the palm of your hand Hold the meter six to eight inches away being careful that no shadows are cast on the palm TAKE SEVERAL READINGS It is often best to take readings from different areas of your subject using the average exposure to obtain detail in both light and dark picture areas This is practical if no more than a six stop difference in high and low readings exists with black and white film or a three stop difference with colour Care of your Clip on Meter ZERO ADJUSTMENT the meter s needle does not indicate the zero point when the switch is OFF turn the zero adjust screw to either direction until the needle rests exactly on the zero point BATTERY REPLACEMENT Mercury batteries of the type used in the Clip on Meter have an extremely good shelf life battery will give a constant current during its life and when it dies the current lowers rapidly It will last for approximately one year depending upon frequency of use When the meter s battery is exhausted the needle of your meter will move slowly or not at all To be certain check the battery with the convenient battery checker To replace the battery simply slide the replacement lever out of the way and remove the battery cover The battery will lift out easily and a new one can be put in its place Insert the battery with the positive side in contact with t

13. mano Tenete l esposimetro a circa 15 o 20 cm di distanza stando attenti che non vi siano ombre sul palmo della vostra mano MEDIA FRA DIVERSE LETTURE E spesso meglio prendere diverse letture su differenti aree del vostro soggetto e usare l esposizione media in modo da ottenere i dettagli sia nelle aree scure che di quelle in luce della fotografia Questo pratico se non esiste una differenza maggiore di sei stops tra le letture alte e basse con pellicola in bianco e nero o una differenza maggiore di tre stops con pellicola a colori 1 Come mantenere in efficienza l esposimetro Se l indice dell esposimetro non segna zero quando l interruttore amp nella posizione OFF girate la vite di azzeramento in qualsiasi direzione finch l indice non segna tamente zero Le batterie a mercurio usate nell esposimetro hanno una notevole durata Una batteria d una corrente costante durante la sua efficienza quando asaurita la corrente si ab bassa lentamente o addirittura non si muover pil La batteria al mercurio usata nel l esposimetro Asahi Pentax avr la durata approssimativa di un anno a seconda dell uso Se lasciate l esposimetro acceso quando non lo usate la batteria si consumer rapida mente spengete sempre l esposimetro quando non in uso Per rimpiazzare la batteria togliete semplicemente la sicura in modo da poter togliere il coperchio La batteria verr via facilmente ed una nuova potr
