1. Open the battery compartment cover by sliding it in the direction of the arrow Insert two batteries in the battery compartment with treir and sides facing correctly as indica ed inside the cover Do ot use Ni Cd or other rect argeable batteries Battery Check Slide the flash on off switch upward to ON If the flash ready lamp glows within a few seconds _ it means the batteries are good If it takes more than 30 seconds to glow replace the batteries with new ones Battery Life With a set of fresh alkaline batteries you should be able to take about 360 flash shots in succession in ambient temperatures of 20 degrees centigrade Settir g the Film Speed otha ie Pipu Speed Set th film speed by aligning the selector with the cc responding ISO number of the film in use The f n speed is marked on the film s external packi gy box Use films with speed rating of ISO 100 200 or 400 Loading the Film Never load or unload film in bright light or direct sunlight E Open the back cover by pulling the film rewind back cover release knob upwards a Film Perforations Film cassette Place film cassette into the film chamber Insert film end into one of the slots on the take up spool Turn he film advance thumb wheel in the directior of arrow transporting the film while smooth meshing the perforations of the film with the sprocket Close the back cover
2. on off switch to the OFF position e When taking pictures in the vertical format hold he camera with the flash unit positioned on top FOF NTAM Tra spart 15 ss a Rewinding the Film When the entire roll has been exposed it will not be possible to wind the film any further When this happens do not forcibly wind the film rewind the exposed film back into the cassette Press in the film rewind release button Unfold the film rewind crank and turn it in direction of the arrow Continue turning the rewind crank until you feel no more resistance and the crank turns freely Then open the back cover of the camera and remove the film After unloading the exposed film have it processed as soon as possible ri sa TE ae i i ee ee camera Care When not using the flash unit for an extended riod test flash it occasionally to help maintain ioacitor performance When the glass surfaces of the viewfinder or he lens are smudged with fingerprint stains ar ther marks promptly clean them by lightly ping them with some lens cleaning tissue oistened with fens cleaning solution Remove dirt nd dust from these surfaces with a blower brush In hot summer months do not leave the camera here it will get too hot such as the beach in he trunk and interior compartments of a car it can adversely affect film and battery rformance and even possibly damage the camera achanism
3. 10 Take up any slack in the film by unfolding the film rewind crank and turning it gently in direction of arrow until the slack is gone Alternately wind on film and shoot blank shots until the exposure counter reads 1 i While winding on the film check that it is advancing properly by observing whether or not the film rewind knob turns E AE eae E ma i u s Taking Pictures EJ Open the lens cover by moving the lens cover release lever When sighting with the camera compose your subject by framing it within the viewfinder Gently press the shutter release button halfway If the LED signal lamp does not glow press the button all the way to release the shutter Focusing Range You can easily take snapshots with this camera because everything from about 1 5 meters and beyond will be in sharp focus PENI IAM FH sport 35 _ Flash Pnotograpny When shooting indoors or in cloudy weather lightly press the shutter release button halfway If the LED signal lamp on the left of the viewfinder eyepiece glows then switch to flash BB Slide the flash on off switch upward to ON B Be sure to release the shutter after making ure the flash ready lamp glows e If the shutter release button is pressed before the flash ready lamp glows the flash will not fire ind underexposure will result e When not shooting with flash be sure to reset the flash
