AMERI CAN TELECOM INC Technical Document SL PTG012 Telephone and Charging Station Installation Instructions The Ameri Can Telecom Inc SL PTGO12 Phone and Charging Station is a wall mount or desktop enclosure designed for SpectraLink pocket phones and battery changers It includes a hinged dust cover with a key lock and holds up to 12 SpectraLink Phones and 12 battery chargers SL PTG012 Inventory Verify that all items listed on the Ameri Can packing list were included in the shipment as received from Ameri Can for this installation Notify Ameri Can Telecom promptly of any discrepancies Equipment supplied Wall Anchor amp Screws 180060 00 and 180059 02 4 ea A Power Cord 170000 02 1 ea SL PTG012 230443 19 Charger Mounting h w 180012 00 20 ea 5 180100 00 20 ea Tools Required e Measuring Tape Pencil and Level e Drill and assorted Drill Bits including a 1 8 Bit and Safety Glasses e Assorted Screwdrivers SL PTG012 Installation Instructions Page 1 AMERI CAN TELECOM INC Technical Document Charger Installation The SL PTG012 SpectraLink Phone and Charging station is shipped with its power supply and charger regulator boards installed and with their distribution jacks routed and configured as illustrated here SL PTG012 Rear View At the front of the unit 1 Lift open the front door of the enclosure 2 Locate the pre drilled hole pairs and identify the pairs that will be used to2. mount the individual battery chargers refer to the photo at the top of this page Charger Power Supply Jacks Charger Mounting Hole pairs SL PTG012 Installation Instructions Page 2 AMERI CAN TELECOM INC Technical Document 3 Attach each PTQ365 charger to the housing using two 2 nylon spacers p n 180100 00 under the charger and two 2 6 19 screws p n 180012 00 per charger PTQ365 4 Plug a power supply jack into each charger 5 Plug in the AC power cord to turn power on Verify that each charger LED is lit solid red 6 Place a SPECTRALINK battery into each charger position Verify that each charger LED 1s lit solid green Battery LED Enclosure Installation The SL PTG012 SpectraLink Phone and Charging station can be placed on a table or can be wall mounted When wall mounted the enclosure can be mounted horizontally or vertically using a Philips screwdriver and the included mounting hardware To mount the SL PTGO12 Station to the wall install the enclosure as follows 1 Locate the four screws and anchors supplied with the kit SL PTG012 Installation Instructions Page 3 AMERI CAN TELECOM INC Technical Document 2 Position the enclosure on the wall in the location it will be mounted Ensure that it s at the appropriate height and level mark the position of the four mounting holes forming a rectangle 26 by 4 3 8 Refer to the illustration below Note If the wall is wallpapered u
