1. amp AIPHONE 0601 lt A Semen K Series FLUSH MOUNT STAINLESS STEEL HOUSING KIT KA FSH for Color Video Door Stations INSTRUCTIONS The KA FSH is a flush mount stainless steel mounting box for KB DAR and KC DAR color video door stations Pull out and down on screw cover at the bottom of K B C DAR Loosen tamperproof screw with hexagonal wrench Separate door station from back mounting bracket On bottom of unit press two tabs with a screwdriver to unlock front cover panel Loosen tamperproof screw further and remove it and the entire front panel See REMOVE FRONT COVER PANEL at the bottom of this page for further clarification Place the camera unit between the KA FSH front panel and the back frame Secure the back frame to the front panel with provided nuts Cut an opening in the wall that is 7 5 16 high x 5 1 32 wide Ensure that a mounting depth of at least 2 5 8 is available Pass cable through knockout holes 10 Secure mounting box to wall so that front of box is flush with the outside edge of the wall 11 Connect wires to the video door station See individual product wiring diagrams 13 Align the weather hood and the front panel and attach to the mounting box using the supplied screws and tamper proof tool MOUNTING See illustration below co Co N OD oR ON Mounting box Camera frame Tamperproof screws Camera Mounting Studs Back frame Weather h2. ood K B C DAR without front cover Loosen tamperproof screw until separated REMOVE FRONT COVER PANEL Erorteover will not be reused Entire gray front panel must be removed Loosen 1 Loosen tamperproof screw with supplied wrench 2 Press tabs on the bottom of the K B C DAR with screwdriver to unlock gray front panel 3 Loosen the tamperproof screw further until it can be removed 4 Remove and discard the gray front panel and the Press to we unlock Hexagonal wrench Screw cover Standard tamperproof screw of the K B C DAR Bottom view screwdr iver Aiphone Communication Systems TOLL FREE TECHNICAL SUPPORT 1700 130th Ave NE 800 692 0200 Bellevue WA 98005 TOLL FREE FAX LINE 425 455 0510 800 832 3765 KAFSH Inst FAX 425 455 0071 E MAIL tech serv aiphone com 0601 bkjd
