ROUTE 66 Navigate 2004 USER MANUAL VERSION 1 1 SEPTEMBER 2004 l Introduction ROUTE 66 Navigate 2004 transforms your Pocket PC all at a sudden into a powerful navigation system up to house number accuracy If you connect your Pocket PC to a GPS receiver then turn by turn voice instructions and on screen directions will guide you from your current position via any number of intermediate waypoints to your final destination Yet if you would miss a turn and go off course then ROUTE 66 Navigate 2004 immediately recalculates your route You can also add your personal Outlook contacts as waypoints to your route User defined maps of arbitrary size help you to save the precious memory of your Pocket PC Furthermore via a wireless Internet connection you stay informed about the current traffic situation in Great Britain Germany France Italy and the Netherlands even when you are on the road This 24 hours per day days per week FREE service helps you to avoid traffic jams road works or accidents that may occur along your route In addition to all this with ROUTE 66 Navigate 2004 you can navigate to any location chosen from an impressive collection of points of interest like hotels restaurants and petrol stations ROUTE 66 Navigate 2004 maps are available for the following groups of countries Scandinavia Great Britain Benelux Germany France Switzerland amp Austria Spain amp Portugal Italy and the entire Western Euro

6. 2004 No O ROUTE 66 Navigate Sverige 2004 2 11 How do I navigate on the map There are two ways to navigate on the map zooming in or out and scrolling O O ROUTE 66 Navigate Portugal 2004 O 6 O Zooming in and zooming out In order to show the map in either greater or less detail you can zoom in or zoom out on the map Zooming in displays a smaller area of the map but in greater detail Zooming out displays a larger area of the map but in less detail To zoom in or out on the map you can either e Use the buttons on the command bar by tapping either the amp button or the amp button Tap the map or draw a rectangle to zoom in on a specific area of the map The map is zoomed and the relevant details are displayed on the map or e Select the zoom options from a pop up menu in the area of the map by tapping amp holding the stylus and by selecting either Zoom In Tool or Zoom Out Tool Tap the map or draw a rectangle to zoom in on a specific area of the map The map is zoomed and the relevant details are displayed on the map Scrolling Tap or tap amp hold the stylus on the dotted area at the edges of the screen The map scrolls in the direction where you hold the stylus You can also display the map in areas of fixed dimensions To do that tap on the command bar and select one of the available options If you want to display the entire map select Show Entire Map To display the entire route
