3. to be on the left or right hand when the sink is fitted Cut the appropriate taphole into the sink To do this you will need a hole saw or tank cutter set to cut out a 35 mm diameter hole and a pilot drill On the reverse side of the sink you will find a location point for the pilot drill in the centre of the tap cut out Drill out the pilot hole Turn the sink over and carefully drilLcOt4he tap hole WARNING Velstra amp Neostone products include a silica filler Any machining operation will produce fine particles of dust Drilling or cutting must be carried out in a well ventilated area 2 Fit the fixing clips to the sink using the screws provided as shown in fig 2 and hinge them back away from the sink edge 3 Atthis point try the sink in the cut out some localised enlargement of the hole may be necessary around the clips 4 Fit the tap to the sink 5 Fit the wastes to the sink following the instructions packed with them 6 Fit the foam seal to the edge of the sink Peel off the paper backing strip and stick the seal to the recess in the sink as shown in fig 3 Ensure that a neat butt joint is achieved where the ends of the seal meet E N 3 FITTING THE SINK 1 Position the sink in the cut out 2 Tension the fixing clips as shown in fig 4 Ensure that the foam seal is carefully compressed but do not overtighten the clips 3 Complete the plumbing of the hot and cold supply to the tap

INSTALLATION DETAILS VELSTRA amp NEOSTONE SINKS NOTE During installation care should be taken to ensure the sink is protected from scuffs and scratches Straining and overtightening of all plumbing fixtures connected to the sink should be avoided Installers should carefully check that the moulding and the edges of the sink are dead level so that water will flow off the drainer PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL SINK PREPARING THE WORKTOP 1 Itis recommended that the inset sink is fitted to the worktop before being permanently fixed to the cabinet 2 Place the sink upside down on worktop Position the sink relative to the worktop as required ensuring that the cabinet framework will be clear of all parts of the sink With a sharp soft pencil draw round sink as accurately as possible See fig 1 WORKTOP CUT OUT SHOWN DOTTED FINAL POSITION OF SINK 3 Remove the sink and draw another line 10mm inside the out line of the sink top This is the cutting line for the aperture 4 Drillas large a hole as possible inside the cutting line Using a pad saw jigsaw or similar cut out the aperture At this point we would recommend that the worktop aperture is sealed To do this paint over with a p v a adhesive paint varnish or smear with silicone sealant PREPARING THE SINK 1 If a taphole is required but has not been supplied in the sink proceed as follows Decide whether the bowl is

VELSTRA UND NEOSTONE EINBAUSPULEN HINWEIS Beim Einbau ist daraufzu achten da die Sp le nicht durch Scheuern oder Kratzen besch digt wird Die an die Sp le angeschlossenen Leitungen und Armaturen m glichst nicht verschmutzen und nicht berm ig fest verschrauben Der Installateur sollte sorgf ltigst kontrollieren ob Deckleiste und Kanten der Sp le vollkommen waagerecht sind damit das Wasser von der Ablaufft che abflie en kann BITTE VOR EINBAU DER SP LE AUFMERKSAM LESEN VORBEREITUNG DER ARBEITSPLATTE 1 Es empfiehlt sich die Einbausp le zuerst in die Arbeitsplatte einzulassen und dann erst dauerhaft am Unterschrank zu befestigen 2 Drehen Sie die Sp le um und legen Sie sie in der gew nschten Einbaulage auf die Arbeitsplatte Dabei darauf achten da die Sp le und dazugeh rigen Teile nicht ans Gestell des Unterschranks ansto en Dann zeichnen Sie die Umrisse der Sp le mit einem angespitzten weichen Bleistift m glichst genau nach Siehe Abb 1 WORKTOP CUT OUT SHOWN DOTTED FINAL POSITION OF SINK 3 Nehmen Sie die Sp le von der Platte ab und zeichnen Sie parallel zu den markierten Umrissen und 10 mm nach innen versetzt eine weitere Linie die dann als vorlage zum Auss gen der Ausnehmung f r die Sp le dient 4 Die markierte Fl che mit einem m glichst gro en Bohrer anbohren und dann mit einer Stichs ge Lochs ge o auss gen Wir empfehlen die Schnittkante der Arbeitsplatte jetzt a
7. bzudichten Dazu die Kante mit PVA Kleber oder Lack bestreichen bzw Silikondichtmasse auftragen VORBEREITUNG DER SPULE 1 Wenn ein Loch f r den Wasserhahn ben tigt wird jedoch in der Sp le nicht vorgesehen ist geht man folgenderma en vor Entscheiden Sie ob das Becken nach Einbau der Sp le links oder rechts sein soll und schneiden Sie eine passende Ausnehmung f r den Wasserhahn in die Sp le Dazu ben tigen Sie eine Lochs ge oder einen Tankschneider eingestellt auf einen Lochausschnitt von 35mm Durchmesser und einen Vorbohrer Suchen Sie auf der Unterseite der Sp le einen Ansatzpunkt f r den Vorbohrer genau in der Mitte der Ausnehmung f r den Wasserhahn Dann das Loch vorbohren die Sp le umdrehen und die Ausnehmung f r den Wasserhahn vorsichtig ausbohren ACHTUNG Velstra und Neostone Produkte enthalten einen Silikaf llstoff Bei jeglichen Bohr oder Schneidarbeiten f llt feiner Quarzsand an Material daher nur in gut bel fteten R umen bearbeiten 2 Die Befestigungsklemmen wie in Abb 2 dargestellt an der Sp le anbringen und nach hinten hin von der Sp lenkante wegklappen 3 Jetzt probieren ob die Sp le in die Ausnehmung pa t Eventuell mu das Loch im Bereich der Klemmen etwas vergr ert werden 4 Wasserhahn an der sp le anbringen 5 Abfl sse nach der Ihnen beiliegenden Anleitung in die Sp le einbauen 6 Schaumstoffdichtung an der Sp lenkante anbringen Schutzpapier abziehen und den
