Page 9 GB AVSTORS5 Wiring the Electrical Box WARNING Do not install or modify electrical wiring unless you M4 x 8mm Phillips are a certified electrician combo screw Remove two 2 M4 x 8mm Phillips combo screws to detach the electrical box from the ceiling box Figure 1 Have a certified electrician do the following f Electrical box inside the e Punch out the appropriate power knockout s on the Figure 1 ceiling box shown side of the ceiling box Figure 2 e Hook up all loose wiring in the electrical box e Re install the electrical box inside the ceiling box Power Knockouts Continue to Removing the Electrical Knockouts optional below Figure 2 Removing the Electrical Knockouts optional Remove screws from around the desired electrical knockouts Figure 1 to detach their covers Remove the knockout covers from the top of the GB AVSTORS Figure 2 If you no longer want to use a knockout re attach its cover to prevent excessive airflow into the ceiling Go to Mounting Tray Installation on page 11 Figure 1 1 and 2 gang electrical knockouts inside the GB AVSTORS5 Detach the knockout cover Figure 2 Page 10 Visit the Premier Mounts website at www mounts com Installation Instructions GB AVSTORS5 _ Mounting Tray Installation For ease of installation the mounting tray comes packaged in a separate box within the master carton Installers may pre wire the mounting tray prior to the GB A2. Braided Cable Release Pin Mounting Hole he Braided Cable Release Pin Mounting Hole Page 8 Visit the Premier Mounts website at www mounts com Installation Instructions It is recommended that the following steps be performed by two people Lower the ceiling box into the exposed ceiling framework Make sure the ceiling box is seated completely in the ceiling framework before releasing it Adjust the c braided cable so that the cable forms a 15 angle away from the corner of the ceiling box Ne When adjusting the tension of the weight bearing i side of the Quick Lock the s braided cable must be pulled through the Quick Lock until the desired tension is attained Do not overtighten When you have the desired tension pull the 14e y p braided cable through the other side of the Quick Lock in Once the tension has been adjusted be sure that there is a minimum of 6 of excess 1h braided cable on the non weight bearing side of the Quick Lock Use cable cutters to remove any remaining t braided cable optional Go to Wiring the Electrical Box on page 10 Ceiling Framework he Braided Cable To Ceiling Attachment 6 Excess he Braided Cable Quick Lock Installation Instructions Visit the Premier Mounts website at www mounts com

VSTORS ceiling box installation Zip ties included small screws and flat washers are strongly recommended to hold all equipment in place Attaching Equipment to the Tray Place your electronic components onto the mounting tray Align the electronic components so that the weight is distributed as evenly as possible Run the zip ties through the mounting slots on the tray underneath the mounting tray and up through the mounting slot on the other side of the electronic component Tighten the zip tie down and cut off any excess zip tie As a reminder small screws and flat washers may also be used and are strongly recommended Zip Tie Attaching the Mounting Tray to the GB AVSTOR5 S M5 x 8mm Phillips head screw Insert four 4 M5 x 8mm Phillips head screws loosely into the outer holes inside the GB AVSTORS5 Figure 1 Place the mounting tray into the middle section of the GB AVSTORS Figure 2 Hook the mounting tray onto the heads of the M5 x 8mm Phillips head screws on the GB AVSTOR5S Figure 3 Insert two 2 M5 x 8mm Phillips head screws into the middle mounting holes of the mounting tray Use a Phillips tip screwdriver to tighten all six 6 screws A Do not overtighten the mounting screws Inside view of GB AVSTOR5 Continue to Ceiling NPT Adapter Plate Adjustment on Figure 1 Figure 2 Figure 3 Installation Instructions Visit the Premier Mounts website at www mounts com Page 11 GB AVS
