Blender Dear Customer Before using the appliance the user should read the following instructions carefully Connection to the mains supply The appliance should only be connected to an earthed socket installed in accordance with the regulations Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label This product complies with the directives which are binding for the CE labelling Familiarisation 1 Lid 2 Feeder opening 3 Feeder opening stopper 4 Blender jug 5 Blade 6 Drive shaft coupling 7 Motor housing 8 Control switch 9 Safety switch 10 Safety contact ring 11 Contact pin 12 Rating label 13 Power cord Important safety instructions Before the appliance is used the main unit as well as any attachment fitted should be checked thoroughly for any defects Should the appliance for instance have been dropped onto a hard surface it must not be used any longer even invisible damage may have adverse effects on the operational safety of the appliance Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use and keep children away This appliance is not intended for use by any person including children with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities or lacking experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety Children should be supervised to e2. e section Operation Then rinse the blender jug lid and stopper with fresh water All parts must me thoroughly dried afterwards Disposal Do not dispose of old or defective X appliances in domestic garbage this should only be done through EE public collection points Guarantee This product is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase Under this guarantee the manufacturer undertakes to repair or replace any parts found to be defective providing the product is returned to one of our authorised service centres This guarantee is only valid if the appliance has been used in accordance with the instructions and provided that it has not been modified repaired or interfered with by any unauthorised person or damaged through misuse This guarantee naturally does not cover wear and tear nor breakables such as glass and ceramic items bulbs etc If the product fails to operate and needs to be returned pack it carefully enclosing your name and address and the reason for return If within the guarantee period please also provide the guarantee card and proof of purchase

4. tings The control switch settings are as follows P The appliance remains switched on as long as the switch is held in this position The appliance is switched off The appliance operates at low power The appliance operates at maximum power De gt Short term operation The appliance is designed to process average domestic quantities of food it can be operated without interruption for a maximum of 1 minute when it should be allowed to cool down for approximately 5 minutes Safety switch A special safety switch in the motor housing ensures that the appliance can only be switched on once the blender jug is properly locked Before removing the blender jug make sure that the control switch is in position 0 This also applies when fitting the blender jug to the motor housing If the switch is not in its off position 0 the motor will start immediately Operation Fit the blender jug to the motor housing It can be fitted in any position Turn the safety contact ring so that the pin activates the safety switch see diagrams I and II Put the liquid ingredients into the blender jug The jug has a maximum capacity of 1250 ml To avoid possible foaming or spilling when processing foamable or thin liquids such as milk do not fill the jug over the 1000 ml mark Attach the lid To add ingredients during operation the stopper in the centre of the lid can be removed by turning the stopper in an anti clock
5. wise direction and then lifting it Do not insert any objects into the blender jug while the appliance is operating Insert the plug into the wall outlet and use the control switch to select the required power setting Depending on the food to be processed the appliance may also be operated for short periods of time in the pulse setting P Do not operate the appliance when the blender jug is empty After using the blender switch the appliance off and remove the plug from the wall socket Wait until the motor has come to a complete standstill before removing the blender jug Ice crusher This blender may also be used to crush ice Put the ice cubes into the jug but do not fill over the 750 ml mark and switch the appliance on Once the ice cubes are crushed to the desired size switch the appliance off and take out the ice General Care and Cleaning Always remove the plug from the wall socket before cleaning the appliance To avoid the risk of electric shock do not clean the motor housing or the power cord with water and do not immerse them in water The motor housing may be wiped with a slightly damp lint free cloth Do not use abrasives harsh cleaning solutions or hard brushes for cleaning and do not clean in a dish washer For cleaning after use fill the blender jug with approximately 1000 ml warm water with a mild cleaning detergent Let the appliance run for a short period as described in th
