4. the grille should be cleaned regularly depending on use every 10 15 days and at least every three months in a dishwasher or in hot water with normal washing up detergent First remove n pur by pulling down on it Undo the side catches You can now clean the anti grease filter grilles v Soak them for about one hour in hot water with a grease loosening detergent then rinse off thoroughly with hot water v Repeat the process if needed Refit the grease grille once it has dried To clean the grease filter grilles in your dishwasher Place the grease filter grilles in the dishwasher Select the most powerful washing programme and highest temperature Repeat the process if necessary Refit the grease grilles when dry Do not worry about the slight discolouration of the grille its performance won t be affected REMEMBER THAT DISCOLOURATION OF THE GREASE FILTER CAN TAKE PLACE WHEN CLEANED INA DISHWASHER THIS IS NORMAL Let the filter grilles dry thoroughly before refitting them Maintenance Changing the Light Bulb and Carbon Filter a Changing the LIGHT BULB v Disconnect the hood from the power supply v Access the lamp area Please note that you will have to take off the grease grille at the back to access the lamp area v Always replace burnt out bulbs with olive shaped 40 Watt bulbs v After replacing the bulb put the grease grille back b Changing the CARBON FILTER You will find that o

ONTO A KITCHEN WALL UNIT Extraction Mode 1 Remove the metal grease filter grilles see page 9 4 Screw the four screws provided halfway into the 2 If using the hood in extraction marks you made mode make a hole with a diameter of 130 mm in the 5 Hook the cooker hood onto the support screws and screw kitchen unit aligned with the discharge hole of the hood If necessary make a hole in the wall to insert the power cable 3 Rest the hood on the wall unit and mark the points for the support holes F see Figure 5 below at right EA j ee a 7 a F 2 DER Im them in 6 Connect the ducting to the collar spigot A Fig 3 7 Replace the anti grease filter grilles INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Setting up your Hood On request you can obtain a spacer to cover the gap between the hood and the wall behind it Fig 7 below 1 When positioning the hood on the wall unit mark the position of the two slots M for blocking the spacer 2 Using a 6mm diameter drill bit make holes in the marks you noted on the wall 3 Insert rawlplugs in the holes 4 Work screws into the plugs partway 5 After you have assembled the hood secure the spacer to the rear wall tightening the screws you have just inserted the rest of the way in see Fig 7 6 Note that you can also have a discharge opening at the rear of the cooker hood that has a diameter of 100mm In this ca

TIONS Setting up your Hood PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL HAVE The cooker hood must not be COOKER HOOD THAT YOU CAN ADAPT IT AS AN EXTRACTION FAN IF THIS radiant top plate IS THE CASE YOU LL NEED TO ATTACH Omen A SPIGOT A in Fig 3 at bottom of We recommend that at least next page AND DUCTING YOU LL two people install this hood ALSO NEED TO HAVE PREPARED YOUR WALL EXHAUST SYSTEM PROPERLY Do not tile grout or silicone this hood to the wall Your Baumatic Cooker Hood should only be fitted on a wall or under a kitchen wall unit Do NOT position it any less than 700 mm 70 cm above the hob FITTING THE HOOD ONTO A KITCHEN WALL 1 Remove the grease filter grilles see page 9 2 Position the hood against the wall and mark the position of the support holes D and the anchoring holes E see Figure 5 below PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL NEEDED SCREWS AND RAWLPLUGS ARE INCLUDED WITH YOUR COOKER HOOD AS BAGGED ACCESSORIES INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Setting up your Hood 3 Using a drill bit with a diameter of 6mm make holes in the wall on the points you have just marked 4 Insert the rawlplugs in the holes and then screw the support upper screws halfway in 5 Hook the hood onto the screws and secure it from the inside tightening the support and anchoring screws 6 Connect the discharge pipe to the collar A see Figure 3 below 7 Replace the grease filter grilles FITTING THE HOOD

11. ne filter will attach over the front of the fan motor please _ see figure at bottom of page The active carbon filter must be replaced regularly at least once every four months to allow normal operation when in recirculation mode Before starting to fit the carbon filter turn the omni polar switch to 0 3 Place the new carbon filter over the motor bracket making sure that the centre button fits exactly into the hole on the bracket Press lightly until it snaps into place then insert the centre peg 4 Replace the anti grease filter grille NOTE If your filter is different i e is the Bayonet Circular insert type Position the filter P in order to cover the motor 1 Remove the metal grease filter grille see page 9 2 Take carbon filter and extract centre peg on it about 10mm If changing remove the old carbon filter by rotating it until it unlatches from the sides of the motor protection grille ensuring that the X on the filter lines up with the Y on the conveyor Then turn clockwise Reverse to dismount INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Electrical Before installation and usage read all the instructions and make sure that the voltage V and the frequency Hz indicated on the identification plate found inside your Cooker Hood and all the data inside the appliance are exactly the same as the voltage and frequency in your home NOTE The manufacturer declines all respons
