SS LIAIN TEC PC amp Notebook Security Combination Cable Lock Model NBL S450 PACKAGE CONTENTS e NBL S450 PC amp Notebook Security Combination Cable Lock e D Sub Com port amp VGA port e Security Plate e Velcro Strap e Alcohol Swipe e Abrasive Pad e Screws x 2 Note VELCRO strap and all other trademarks are the property of their respective companies INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS To Lock 1 Insert the Adapter into the D Sub Com Port VGA Port and tighten the Security Screws 2 Slide the Lock Housing down to the Security Screws and scramble the dials Then the locking process is completed D Sub Adapter Window Dial Reset Button Security Screw Lock Housing Note Test the combination BEFORE attaching the lock to your computer via the pass through cable Never attempt to remove the LOCK without entering the combination To do so may physically damage the lock and your computer Vantec assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen combination To Unlock 1 Turn the dials to the opening number and align to the Window Dial 2 Pull out the Lock Housing from the Adapter 3 You may leave Adapter on D Sub or loosen the Security Screw and pull the Adapter out of D Sub To Reset your Combination 1 Turn the dials to the preset combination 0 0 0 0 and align to the Window Dial 2 Press the Reset Button with a mini screw driver or other tools and turn counterclockwise 90 3 Tu
3. rn the dials to your own desired combination 4 Turn the Reset Button clockwise 90 to its original position Anchoring 1 Circumvent the cable around a secured and fixed object Take the Lock through the loop as shown Use the VELCRO strap to fasten the cable 2 Using the Security Plate Use the Base Plate as a template to pre drill the holes Smooth out the surface with abrasive pad if necessary Apply the alcohol swipe to the area where the Security Base Plate will be attached Remove the adhesive strip and place the Base Plate to the prepared location and screw in both screws Mount the plate cover back onto the plate to cover the screws Wrap your notebook lock cable around the ring to secure LIZIN TEC PC amp Notebook Security Combination Cable lock Model NBL S450 Warranty The PC amp Notebook Security Combination Cable Lock comes with a 1 year limited warranty If your unit should become defective within that time frame please go to http www vantecusa com for information on how to receive warranty exchange or repair Cosmetic defects and missing parts are not covered under this warranty Please check the contents of the unit to make sure you recived all parts Also check for any cosmetic flaws If any parts are missing or if there are cosmetic defects please contact the retailer from which you purchased the unit immediately and ask for a replacement Technical support
