8. altitude they also show the GPS or the barometric altitude see Fields section ge Two av freedom to discover COMPEGPS gf GPS The generic Altitude data can be preset so it observes different values depending on your preferences From Menu gt Settings gt Off road gt Altitude you will be able to select among the following options e GPS The values from the GPS will be directly taken e Barometric altimeter The data from this utility will be taken disregards the GPS It is important to calibrate the barometer in order to achieve reliable data You may calibrate the barometer in 2 ways o Manual calibration tool If you Know the present altitude you can enter it into the TwoNav from Menu gt Settings gt Off road gt Calibrate barometer o Automatic calibration tool If you select the Automatic option in the altitude selector menu TwoNav will continuously calibrate the barometric altimeter using the GPS position along time see following point If after some time you select Barometric altimeter the introduced calibration will be saved with the automatic option but it won t be updated with the new GPS measurements e Automatic recommended the barometric altitude will be used but the barometer will be automatically calibrated using the altitude data from the GPS by means of an algorithm that optimizes the final result This is the recommended option for most user
9. e Next Waypoint When navigating a route or a track with waypoints switch to the next one e Previous Waypoint When navigating a route or a track with waypoints switch to the previous one Note NextWPT and Previous WPT tools will only be visible when navigating a route or a track which contains waypoints 4 6 12 3D Reliefs TwoNav may use elevation maps grid with information on the height of the ground to have the altitude data on the references created with the program e g tracks waypoints etc to habilitate the visualizing mode 3D 3D real Besides remaining subjacent and supply the ground altitude data the 3D relieves may be seen with the following options e Draw landscapes on the 2D view It will be seen if a CDEM is loaded although it will take position in the lowest layer so any other loaded map will be displayed on top e Draw landscape with shadow This visual option makes the relief drawing more attractive e Flat colour steps Instead of using a fading colour just one plain colour for each height interval will be used This interval can be preset from the unfolding menu just below 4 6 13 3D mode You may set the following options for 3D mode e 3D mode Choose the sequence for 2D button in tools bar o 2D 3D if raster map 2 positions 2D 3D 3D TwoNav will try to show 3D mode If not possible 3D flat will be shown o 2D 3D 3D 3 positions 2D 3D flat 3D 3D mode

Keep the ON button pressed for 2 seconds to start the system Carry out the same operation for turning it off Power On When the device is on you may use the button hold to block the device on two levels e Keypad block With one brief press on the HOLD button the keypad and the screen are blocked making the use of the device impossible but leaving the screen on Repeat a brief pressure to unblock e Complete blocking By pressing for 2 seconds on the HOLD button the keypad will become blocked and the screen won t just be blocked but also will be turned off Consequently the information will not be visible but the battery energy will be saved Press longer once more to unblock 2 3 Battery Recharge The TwoNav Aventura Li on battery is recharged via the USB port It is normally fitted with 3 power sources e PC When connecting the device to a computer besides allowing you to manage the data present in the memory from the PC the battery is also charged The charging speed will be considerably lower to the other two charging systems about 12 hours for a complete charge e Charger for car lighter Included in the TwoNav Aventura kit If it is charged with the device turned off it will take from 4 to 5 hours for a complete charge If navigation is being carried out it will take longer e AC DC charger Not included in the series It can be purchased separately or use any other USB charger A 1000mA h cha

15. e Areas in mf hectares or km Twollav Freedom to discover COINPE GPS 4 9 11 Coordinates You may choose the type of coordinates UTM Latitude Longitude BGN and datum WGS 84 European 1950 Geodetic Datum 1949 etc with which you wish to work in TwoNav This setting will be the one used when introducing any coordinate into the program or when creating elements the kind of waypoints routes or tracks If an element map waypoint route or track that uses a system of coordinates of different a datum is opened TwoNav will detect it and will place it in the correct position Besides from this option you may configure the order in which the degrees will be displayed By default TwoNav Works with Lat Long and Datum WGS84 Coordinates 4 9 12 Time zone TwoNav lets you choose the time it is according to the Universal Time Coordinates UTC that will appear by default with the time zone corresponding to the Central European Time CET You may also set the Summer Time automatically if you wish so TwoNav carries out the seasonal time change Note TwoNav keeps the time updated as long as the device receives a GPS signal Usually inside the buildings the signal from the satellites is not received unless there is a repeater so the time and also the night vision will be affected 4 9 13 Default settings This option lets you re establish all the settable parameters to its initial status All the options that ha
