DA 7909RV Connected to Vocopro CDR 1000 Getting Connected Connecting to a TV Video Monitor What you will need e TV Video Monitor with an RCA video input e 1 RCA video cable yellow Connect one end of the RCA video cable to the Video Out on the rear panel of the DA 7909RV Connect the other end of the RCA video cable to the RCA video input on a TV video monitor DA 7909RV Connected to Vocopro LTV 5 Connecting Microphones The DA 7909RV allows you to connect up to 5 microphones for vocals There are 3 microphone inputs on the front panel each with their own volume controls and then 2 additional backup microphone inputs on the rear panel that are also controlled by the Mic 1 amp 2 volume controls on the front panel What you will need e Vocal microphone s e Microphone cable s with a va plug Connect one end of the microphone cable to the micrphone Connect the other end of the microphone cable to one of the 1 4 microphone inputs on the DA 7909RV Follow steps 1 amp 2 for each microphone See the Operations section in this manual for detailed instructions on adjusting the microphone volume Basic Operations Selecting an A V Input Channel There are 5 available A V input channels to choose from CDG AUX RA DVD CD and Auto Press the Input Select button on the front panel or SELECT on the remote to switch between input channels If you select AUT

O the DA 7909RV will automatically detect which input channel is receiving a signal and will switch to that channel Unit Detail Adjusting the Music Volume 7 j e Front Panel Turn the Music Master Volume control clockwise to increase the volume and counter clockwise to decrease it e Remote Control Press the Music Volume button to raise the music volume and the button to lower it Unit Detail Adjusting the Music Tone The DA 7909RV has Bass and Treble tone controls for fine tuning the overall music tone This allows you to precisely adjust the tone before each performance to accommodate the room stage and other factors that effect tone Tips Unit Detail Remote Detail e f the sound is muddy and unclear try decreasing the Bass and or increasing the treble e If the sound is more tinny trebly or there is feedback try increasing the Bass and or decreasing the treble Remember every room is different and each CD has different tone There is no correct tone setting Continue adjusting the tone controls until you find the desired tone e Front Panel Turn the Music Tone controls clockwise to increase the bass or treble and counter clockwise to decrease it e Remote Control Bass Press the UP arrow 3 times until the display screen says BASS and use the RIGHT arrow to raise the bass and the LEFT arrow to lower it Treble Press the UP arrow 4 times until the display screen says TREBLE and use

17. er Volume control to enter the password Press the FB ELIM button on the front panel to confirm The display panel will now say LOCKED if it is now locked and UNLOCKED if it is now unlocked Setting the Feedback Eliminator FB ELIM The Feedback Eliminator is designed to reduce or eliminate any whistling or feedback that would come from the microphones There are three available Feedback Eliminator strengths O off Turns the Feedback Eliminator off e 1 weak For light feedback e 2 medium For medium feedback e 3 strong For strong feedback To cycle through the different strengths 1 Press the FB ELIM button on the front panel or on the remote control until the display screen shows your desired setting e To turn off press the FB ELIM button until the display screen says O Advanced Operations Storing Custom Effects Settings M1 M2 M3 M4 The DA 7909RV allows you to set up to 4 custom effects settings using the M1 Me M3 M4 memory buttons on the remote control Adjust the effects settings to your desired specifications Hold down the CANCEL button on the front panel for 10 seconds The display screen will say SAVE TO X Press the memory button on the remote control M1 M2 M3 or M4 that you want to save this specific setting to NOTE Saving the new setting to a memory slot will erase the previous setting to that slot Follow steps 1 3 for each memory slot Resetting the Effect Settings to the Orig
