OM Box Enclosure with Vertical H older Stand The installation is complete and the CD ROM drive is now ready to use with any Docking Kit CD ROM Box Enclosure Installation Guide 5 3 1 Operation with a Docking Kit Perform the following steps in the order given to set up aD ockingU nit with your CD ROM BoxEnclosurefor operation Also refer to your D ockingK it sinstallation manual for further details Some D ocking K itsdo not provideaP ower Select switch 1 ForWindows98 users verify that theW indows98 driver isinstalled if required 2 Verify that the power switch on the Docking U nit isO FF IMPORTANT T hePower Select or Power O N O FF switch depending on model must bein the O FF position before proceeding ForD ockingunitswith a Power Select switch settheswitch totheM ID D LE power O FF position beforeconnectingthe CD ROM Box Power OFF External Use Docking Kit Power Adapter Power Power Select Switch Settings on D ocking U nit For Example V P 8058 3 Plug the D ocking K it s 50 pin C entronics connector into the 50 pin connector on the back of the CD ROM Box 4 Usingthe 5V 12V AC DC Power Adapter a With the Power Switch in theO FF position plugin the6 pin connector end of the external power adapter into its corresponding 5V 12V power in connector on the D ocking U nit b Plugoneend of the power cord into the power adapter and theother end into an AC power source outlet 5 Set th
