2. 1 Press the CD RADIO button on the unit until TUNER is displayed 2 Press the AM FM button on the unit to select AM or FM 3 Press the C PRESET button to select a preset station Repeat the Entire CD e Press the co PRESET button until ae REPEAT stops blinking and remains w on es Lt All tracks will be played repeatedly Cancel Repeat Play e Press the c PRESET button until REPEAT disappears CD PROGRAMMABLE PLAYBACK 20 tracks can be programmed to play in a preset order 1 When the unit is ON and in CD MODE make sure the CD is STOPPED Press the MEM button MEMORY and 1 will blink on the display CD MEMORY 2 Press the gt gt I TUNE or Kd TUNE buttons to select the desired track For example to play track 2 first the display would look like this 3 Press the MEM button to store the track in memory e There was a power outage Set the clock again as described in Setting the Clock CLEANING THE UNIT e Do not use volatile chemicals on this unit Clean by lightly wiping with a dry soft cloth e Keep the CD Drawer closed to keep dust out of the unit CLEANING THE CD e Ifthe CD skips or will not play the disc may need to be cleaned Before playing wipe the disc from the center outwards with a clean cloth After playing store the disc in its case HANDLING THE CD e Only touch the CD on the edge to avoid finger prints on the under

AVC makes the following limited warranties These limited warranties extend to the original consumer purchaser and is limited to non commercial user of the product One Year Parts amp Labor Warranty AVC products purchased in the United States are warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of their original retail purchase If the unit fails to conform to this warranty we will service the product using new or refurbished parts and products at AVC s sole discretion During a period of one year from the effective warranty date AVC will provide when needed service labor to repair a manufacturing defect at its designated Service Center To obtain warranty service in the United States you must first call our Customer Support Center at 1 877 252 6873 during the hours listed in the box below The deternination of service will be made by AVC customer support PLEASE DO NOT RETURN YOUR UNIT TO AVC WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION New or remanufactured replacements for defective parts or products will be used for repairs by AVC at its designated Service Center for one year from the defective warranty date Such replacement parts or products are warranted for an additional one year from the date of repair or replacement The Customer will be required to ship the unit to the Service Center indicated at the time Customer Support is contacted to make the necessary repairs The customer is
4. table specified by the manufacturer or sold with the apparatus When a cart is used use caution LAITY ee Portable Cart Warning c Tape Mounting Template to the underside of the cabinet with the folded portion of the Mounting Template flush up against the cabinet overhang see Figure 2 Go to STEP 2 Figure 2 oe Bottom i eae edge Template STEP 2 Use an electric drill with a bit not included to drill all four holes marked on the Mounting Template see Figure 3 To reduce splintering place a small piece of masking tape over each hole location before drilling Go to STEP 3 Figure 3 b Plug the power cord directly into the nearest wall outlet and wrap the remaining cord around the cord storage knob at the rear of the unit MOUNTING SUGGESTIONS 1 If your cabinet has obstructions inside it which prevent you from using the template cut out the corresponding area on the template but do NOT cut out or through the screw holes 2 If your cabinet has obstructions underneath it which will interfere with the mounting of the unit remove the obstruction before mounting the unit or find another location to mount the unit 3 It is recommended that you wear safety glasses while drilling to prevent eye injuries 4 For wood cabinets you may want to mark the hole locations with a nail pressed gently but firmly into the wood so that a slight impression is made This will also help keep the drill bit ce
5. and local regulations STEP 3 If your cabinet does NOT have an overhang a Four screws are provided with the unit Select the screw length which will go completely through your cabinet bottom and provide at least 3 8 of thread to screw into the main unit b Insert the four selected screws through each hole from the inside of the cabinet going down see Figure 4 ae Mounting Screw Figure 4 c Hold the unit up against the bottom of the cabinet and align the four holes on the top of the unit with the screws Partially tighten each screw but do not fully tighten the screws until all of them have been started d Gently tighten each screw until they are firmly holding the unit in place Go to STEP 4 General Controls Front Panel Controls 1 CD Drawer LCD Display 3 POWER Button Press to turn ON the unit or put it in STANDBY OFF mode 4 gt il PLAY PAUSE Button Press to start pause playback of a disc 5 STOP Button Press to stop playing a disc 6 I lt PREV TUNE Button Press to change the digits in Timer mode skip to the previous track in CD mode tune in to different stations in Radio mode 7 gt gt I NEXT TUNE Button Press to change the digits in Timer mode skip to the next track in CD mode tune in to different stations in Radio mode 8 VOLUME Button Press to adjust the volume N ea ON PLACEMENT e Do not leave mount or use the unit in places which are ext
6. at www RCAav com Display Function CD Mode 1 During playback press the DISPLAY button repeatedly to shuffle between the CD playback mode and the current time 2 When stopped press the DISPLAY button to shuffle between the total number of CD tracks and the current time RADIO Mode e Press the DISPLAY button to shuffle between the current radio station and the current time 4 To add additional tracks repeat steps 2 3 up to 20 tracks 5 To start playback press the pil button To check the program e After setting press the mil button to start playing then press the gt gt I TUNE or kK TUNE buttons to check the programmed tracks To add additional tracks during program playback e Press the W button then press the MEM button repeatedly until the number of the last programmed track appears and repeat steps 2 4 above To change the programmed tracks during program playback e Press the W button and press the MEM button repeatedly to select the number of the program then press the gt gt I TUNE or I lt TUNE buttons to alter the track Press the MEM button to register the newly programmed track into memory To erase the whole program do one of the following e Press the W button twice e Press the CD RADIO button to change to radio mode e Open the CD drawer by pressing the amp button Note You can use the REPEAT function during program play Important Also k

10. iver is connected e Consult the dealer or an experienced radio TV technician for help WARNING Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user s authority to operate the equipment This Class B digital apparatus complies with Canadian ICES 003 This product complies with DHHS Rules 21 CFR Subchapter J Applicable at the date of manufacture Mounting Instructions TOOLS NEEDED 1 Electric drill with 1 4 bit 2 Phillips head cross style Screwdriver STEP 1 If your cabinet does NOT have an overhang a Place the Mounting Template in the desired location inside or underneath the cabinet whichever has less obstructions and will be easier for you to reach to drill holes flush with the front edge of the cabinet and tape it down Go to STEP 2 If your cabinet DOES have an overhang a Measure the thickness of the cabinet overhang see Figure 1 Figure 1 b Fold the Mounting Template along the guideline that is closest to the thickness see dimension T in illustration of your cabinet overhang Mounting Instructions d Hold each screw head down and push the unit and spacers onto the screws then hold the unit up until spacers are firmly against the bottom of the cabinet and fully nested within each other if you are using multiple spacers for each screw e Partially tighten each screw but do not fully tighten the screws until all

12. o a Particular Point e To scan forward at high speed press and hold the gt PI TUNE button and release it at the desired point e To scan backward at high speed press and hold the Kk TUNE button and release it at the desired point e Fast forward or Fast reverse will continue searching the CD until it reaches the end CD REPEAT PLAYBACK Repeating the Current Track e Press the co PRESET button until REPEAT blinks the current track will be played repeatedly e Select a desired different track to be repeated by pressing the gt gt I TUNE or 44 TUNE buttons Troubleshooting Care amp Maintenance CLOCK DOES NOT SHOW CORRECT TIME _ Press the CD RADIO button on the unit to select TUNER 2 Press the AM FM button on the unit to select AM or FM 3 Press the gt gt I TUNE or a TUNE buttons to tune in to a desired station 4 Press the MEM button until the MEMORY indicator blinks and the two digits e g 01 blink on the display The digits e g 01 indicate the preset station number that will be used to store your station lz MEMORY TUNER yy Jt l 5 If you want to store to a different preset number simply press the C PRESET button to repeatedly until the desired preset station number is displayed 6 Press the MEM button to store the station 7 Repeat steps 3 to 6 for the next preset TUNING IN TO A PRESET RADIO STATION

19. yed 4 Press the Pll button to start playing the CD The current track appears on the display Note During playback the track number will disappear and the time will be displayed if no button is pressed within 5 seconds e Adjust volume by pressing the VOLUME buttons To Pause Playback e Press the Pll button The current track number blinks e To resume playback press the Pll button again Setting the Cooking Timer 1 Press the TIMER button The TIMER indicator blinks 2 Press the gt gt I TUNE or I4 lt 4 TUNE buttons to select your desired time from 1 99 minutes e TIP Press the TIMER button repeatedly to select following preset times 10 15 30 45 60 75 90 minutes You can then fine tune your time by using the gt gt I TUNE or lk TUNE buttons e TIP Press and hold the gt gt I TUNE or Kd TUNE buttons to fast forward reverse to desired time 3 When the preset time elapses the ALARM will sound 4 To turn Off the ALARM press the TIMER button once Otherwise the ALARM will automatically turn off after 60 minutes if no button is pressed Note Do not press any buttons within 5 seconds after setting the cooking time otherwise the cooking timer will be cancelled CANCELLING THE COOKING TIMER e Press the TIMER button until the time of the cooking timer shows 00 The TIMER indicator will disappear within 5 seconds Limited Warranty AVC MULTIMEDIA
