14. hey may damage the surface of the  player     Lens cleaner   The player s pickup lens should not become dirty under normal use  but is for some  reason it should malfunction due to soiling  contact your nearest WACA authorized  Service center  Lens cleaners are commercially available  but special care should be  exercised in their use since some may cause damage to the lens      23     About Rechargeable Battery    Your portable DVD player comes with a lithium ion rechargeable battery that attaches  to the bottom of the player     1  Under normal working conditions  the battery can be charged and discharged over  300 times    2  The properties of the rechargeable battery are  7 4 Volts  interior lithium ionic  electric circuit protection for recharge and discharge    3  If the battery is not used it will automatically discharge gradually within one month     4  If you don t plan on using the battery for an extended period of time  discharge the  battery and keep it in a dry and cool place    5  If the battery loses power during play  stop playing the DVD   otherwise damage may occur    6  A fully charged battery is able to play   a DVD with the TFT on for about 3hours    Note  Playing time varies from disc to disc    7  Working conditions and precautions     New batteries should be fully charged   before initial use    Battery should only be used and charged   when temperatures are between 32 95F    Never put the battery in fire or water    Do not expose the battery to high t

16. nsert the JPEG disc and close the tray    The disc contents are displayed  JPEG may be in a folder     To preview a picture  use the direction button to move the highlight over a folder  entry  The small preview window reveals the contents of a clip when the highlight  is positioned over the clip title    To see a full screen view of the selected clip  press the ENT button    If you press the STOP button in full screen review  the unit will display a menu of  12 thumbnail images    Press the I   or    button to review all the images  If you want to review one  image in full screen  use the direction button to highlight the image and then  press the ENT button to confirm  The image you selected will show full screen     uu a JPEG    ARONA    Select a JPEG for viewing    Press the ZOOM button  The message Zoom 100  appears   Press the    button repeatedly  the view enlarges to 200    Use the direction button to pan up  down  left and right    To resume normal enlargement  press the ZOOM button again     Rotating or mirror a JPEG    1   2     Position the highlight over a desired JPEG    Press the right direction button one time  the displayed picture rotates 90  degrees   To continue rotating the picture  keep pressing the direction button   Press the left direction button one time to mirror the picture      19     System Setup    GENERAL SET UP   You can change the default settings to customize performance to your own   preference    1  Remove the disc from the DVD drive and p
17. ock function are rated according to their  contents and settings vary from disc to disc  Depending on the disc  you can  replace or lock out violent scenes  or lock out playback of the disc altogether   Access parental control on the sub menu by pressing       v  gt   direction buttons   on the control panel  and then press the ENTER button  An interactive menu will  appear    Password   Parental control features are password protected  Choose a password you will  remember easily or write it down  The default password is 1369    Default Reset   Use this function to reset all the settings    Version   Displays software version information     NOTE  This menu function is not available while a disc is playing       DD    Care of Discs    How to hold discs  When loading or removing discs  try not to touch their playing surfaces     s   xq    Cleaning   Fingerprints or other dirt on the disc may affect sound and picture quality    To clean your discs  use a soft clean cloth to wipe them  If necessary  moisten a soft  cloth with diluted neutral detergent to remove heavy dirt or fingerprints    Do not wipe in a circular direction  Concentric scratches in the disc groove tend to  cause noise     Gently wipe from the inside to the outer edge        Cleaning Care   Use a soft  dry cloth for cleaning  For stubborn dirt  soak the cloth in a detergent  solution  ring well first and wipe  Use a dry cloth to wipe it dry  Do not use any volatile  agents such as benzine or paint thinner  as t
