4. from my system PRERREAUX Troubleshooting Guide Please use this guide if you are experiencing any problems with the SXVI in your system It will provide possible solutions for some given symptoms Output signal is clipping The SXVI gain setting is too high Confirm that the gain is configured correctly for your cartridge If you are unsure decrease the gain setting step by step until the crackling noise goes away Ensure you switch the unit off before adjusting the DIP sw itches Dust on needle and or record Make sure that your needle and record are free from dust and debris Output level is too low The SXVI gain setting is too low Confirm that the gain is configured correctly for your cartridge If you are unsure increase the gain setting step by step until the volume level is suitable Ensure you switch the unit off before adjusting the DIP sw itches Incorrect cartridge loading The resistive and capacitive cartridge loading configurations are not set correctly Check that these settings match the requirements of your cartridge SXV1 not turned on Make sure the SX V1 power switch is in the DOWN position AC cord not plugged in Check that the AC cord is plugged into the IEC socket on the rear of the SXVI Mains power not turned on Check if the power is turn on at the mains socket on the wall 22 I can hear a hum coming through my speakers PRERRE AUX Y Interconnect cables not c
