8. kia Medallion Il WE Charging the battery Push down on the charging cradle and slide it in place around Nokia Medallion Il as shown in the picture below Make sure that the charging cradle and Nokia Medallion II fit as tightly together as possible Connect the charger to the back of the charging cradle and to an AC wall socket While charging the screensaver is shown on the display If Nokia Medallion Il is switched on after approx 30 seconds it automatically switches the power off for more efficient charging When charging Nokia Medallion Il for the first time charge it until the battery is full Note that when connecting the charger to Nokia Medallion Il for the first time or if you have not used Nokia Medallion Il for a long period you have to charge the device for at least five minutes before the charging icon appears on the display WE Switching the power on and off Press 3 to switch on Nokia Medallion Il Press 3 to switch off the power Using Nokia Medallion Il BM Checking the time and battery status To check the current time and battery status briefly press 3 when the power is switched on Nokia Medallion Il displays the current time and the battery icon A completely yellow battery is fully charged and a completely grey battery has no charge M Switching the lights on When the power is on the brightness of the background lights changes randomly When the lights are dim press briefly any key to sw
9. re that there are no obstructions between the devices or other active IR devices nearby 2 Press briefly 2 to activate the IR port of Nokia Medallion Il to receive an image 3 The user of the sending device starts to send the image For more information on how to send the image from the other device refer to the user guide of that device The W icon indicates that the image is successfully sent WE Deleting an image from Nokia Medallion II When the power is switched on select the image you want to delete so that it is on the display To begin deleting the image press 1 and 2 simultaneously The indicator wl shows that you are going to delete an image To delete the image simultaneously press 1 and 2 again within three seconds Otherwise the images will not be deleted The image disappears in approximately three seconds Remember to make backup copies of your images by for example sending and saving them to another compatible device Using Nokia Medallion Il E Setting the time To activate the clock display briefly press 3 when the power is switched on Within 10 seconds press 3 again The battery icon disappears and Nokia Medallion Il is now ready for you to set the time Within the following 10 seconds press and hold 2 to run the clock forward or press and hold 1 to run the clock backward When you have changed the time confirm it by briefly pressing 3 Otherwise the time will not be
