3. 56 rane nsmIinyen frm Page 57 Thursday July 2 1998 5 56 PM amp Settings Menu 4 NOTE When calls are limited to Closed User Groups calls may be possible to certain emergency numbers in some networks e g 112 or other offi cial emergency number This menu allows you to set the phone security level on to avoid un authorised use of the phone You will need the security code to set the security level The available options are None Memory secu rity code is required when Phone Book memory is selected and Phone security code required when a new SIM card is inserted NOTE When you change the security level all the recent calls lists are cleared With this menu you can change the access codes security code PIN code PIN2 code and barring password These codes can only include raD the characters O to 9 The phone prompts you to enter the current D code and the new code It also prompts you to verify the new code by entering it again NOTE Avoid using access codes similar to the emergency numbers such as 112 to prevent acci dental dialling of the emergency number You can allow or prevent the selection of a phone line When Not allowed is selected you cannot use the Phone line in use function 1 Once in the Security settings submenu scroll with or to Phone line change and press Select 2 Key in the PIN2 code and press OK 3 Scroll to Allowed or Not allowed and press OK 57 nsmin
