SER INSTRUCTIONS 11 GENERAL CLEANING Allow appliance to cool thoroughly to avoid risk of burns e Clean regularly according to the level of use e Give attention to the baffle system flue ways and removing ash Regular cleaning and maintenance will help give many years of safe use e Clean matt black appliances using Stovax Collodial black or Stovax Grate Polish To refresh painted finishes use Stovax Thermolac paint e Clean enamel finishes using warm soapy water and a soft clean cloth e Do not use aerosol sprays near an operating appliance Wipe dry with a soft clean cloth before re lighting Do not leave unit without drying as this may cause rust Do not use abrasive cleaner or cleaning pads 12 CLEANING GLASS e Keep the glass clean with correct use of the Airwash system and good quality fuel Sometimes additional cleaning may be required This can be done as follows e Allow appliance to cool fully Do not clean hot glass e Use a soft cloth and Stovax Glass Cleaner Before re lighting the appliance e Dry the glass fully Do not use abrasive cleaner or cleaning pads 13 CHIMNEY SWEEPING To maintain safe and efficient use of the appliance the chimney flue must be inspected and swept at least once a year by a qualified chimney sweep If the appliance is used continuously throughout the year or it is used to burn wood or smokeless fuel more frequent sweeping is recommended The best time to have t
