18. page 59 20 Making and Answering Calls Using the speakerphone Your Kyocera 2325 has a built in speakerphone that can be used while you re in a call Note that this function works only for the current call Once the call is ended the speakerphone turns off and earpiece volume returns to normal To turn on the speakerphone during a call 1 Press left to highlight 42 2 Press 69 to select it 3 Lay the phone down and converse as normal 4 Press left or right to adjust the volume This setting lasts only for the current call To set the speakerphone s volume 1 Select Menu Settings Sounds Spkrphone Vol 2 Press right to increase and left to decrease the speakerphone s volume User s Guide for the Kyocera 2325 Phone 21 Locking the keypad The Keyguard locks your keypad to protect your phone against accidental keypresses when the phone is turned on and a call is not in progress You can still answer or silence an incoming call e To lock the keypad from the home screen press left and hold e To unlock the keypad press D gt gt in this order Changing the keyguard setting 1 Select Menu Settings Keyguard 2 Highlight an option You can set the phone to lock the keypad immediately or if no key is pressed after 30 seconds 1 minute or 5 minutes 3 Press 69 to save Keeping track of your calls Your phone has two timers that count the amount of calls you have made and received
