Alarm Active Indicator PM AM Indicators Bluetooth Indicator Low Backup Battery Indicator Date Alarm time Mode Indicator Radio Bluetooth Aux in Setting Up the Unit Connect the included AC adaptor to the DC jack located on the back of the unit and connect the other end to a working wall outlet ening the Clock Using the iBT97 Press and hold the Nap Clock Set Button for 2 seconds until the clock display flashes and unit beeps 2 Press the or Buttons to adjust the clock to the current time hold for rapid setting Make sure you set the correct AM PM time The AM and PM indicators appear to the left of the display To toggle the clock display between standard 12 hour time and 24 hour military time display press the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 Button during time setting 3 Press the Nap Clock Set Button again to confirm the time The year will flash Press the or Buttons to adjust the display to the current year hold for rapid setting 4 Press the Nap Clock Set Button to confirm the year The date will flash Press the or Buttons to adjust the display to the current month and date hold for rapid setting 5 Press the Nap Clock Set Button to confirm the time and exit clock setting mode 2 beeps will confirm clock setting is complete FM Radio 1 Press and release th Mode Button as needed until the current FM radio station appears on the display 2 Press the or Buttons to tune t2. turn the unit OFF then back ON then follow steps 2 4 again 5 Once paired with a device the Bluetooth indicator on the display will stop flashing then the Bluetooth icon will remain On some devices you must then select Use as Audio Device or similar on the device s Bluetooth menu Once paired your device should link to the iBT97 whenever within range Pairing with a Different Device When you power ON the speaker it will automatically link with the previously paired Bluetooth device as long as that device is still within range about 30 feet To pair with a different device follow steps 1 4 above Using the iBT97 1 Press and release the Mode Button as needed until the Bluetooth indicator icon appears on the display Playing Audio Via Bluetooth 2 Press the Pt Play Pause Button on the unit to play audio from your linked Bluetooth device 3 Press the or Buttons to go to the previous or next track This function may be disabled on some devices 4 Press the or Buttons to adjust the volume on the unit To adjust the fone press and release the EQ Button as needed to cycle to Treble Bass or Balance then press the or Buttons to adjust for best sound 5 When done listening press the amp Button to turn the unit off Remember to turn off your audio device too Using the Speakerphone NOTE The unit does NOT have to be powered on to receive a call A Bluetooth phone must be linked 1 When a

4. away from heat sources such as radiators heat registers stoves or other appliances including amplifiers that produce heat Power Sources The unit should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in the operating instructions or as marked on the appliance Power Cable Protection Power supply cables should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them It is always best to have a clear area from where the cable exits the unit to where it is plugged into an AC socket Cleaning The unit should be cleaned only using a warm damp cloth Do not use solvents etc Objects and Liquid Entry Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into any openings or vents located on the product 16 Attachments Do not use attachments not recommended by the product manufacturer Lightning and Power Surge Protection Unplug the unit from the wall socket and disconnect the antenna or cable system during a lightning storm or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time This will prevent damage to the product due to lightning and powerline surges Overloading Do not overload wall sockets extension cords or integral convenience receptacles as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock Damage Requiring Service The unit should be serviced by qualified service personnel when A the power supply cable

10. Replacing and Installing Clock Backup Battery To replace the backup battery IMPORTANT When replacing the backup battery be sure to have the unit connected to the AC outlet to maintain all of your settings otherwise it will be necessary to reset the time and alarm time after the battery is replaced 1 Remove battery cover located on the bottom of the unit and remove the exhausted CR2450 battery 2 Insert a fresh CR2450 battery in the backup battery compartment with the side facing up as illustrated 3 Replace the battery compartment cover Confirm that the backup battery indicator is not flashing in the display Note Make sure you dispose of battery properly see your local regulations 14 Troubleshooting Unit doesn t respond no power e Check that all connections are correct and properly plugged in e Make sure your device is properly paired with the iBT97 e Make sure the Power is ON Unit doesn t respond locked up or frozen The unit may need to be reset To do so disconnect the unit from AC power and remove the backup battery Let unit sit for 3 5 minutes Re install backup battery and reconnect to AC power Trouble pairing device computer with iBT97 Bluetooth implementation varies depending on your device s hardware and operating system Please see our website for updates on pairing e When you power ON the unit it will automatically link with the last previously paired Bluetooth device
