5. 437 cap nut on a flat surface and fit one end e Fit the head assembly onto the front end of the of the handle axle into it vehicle body e Tap the other end of the handle axle with a hammer to secure the cap nut on the end of the handle axle Hint You may want to position the cap nut on a scrap block of wood to protect the assembly surface Head Assembly Front Wheel Assembly e Slide the front wheel assembly up through the round opening in the underside of the head assembly and out through the square opening in the top of the head assembly e Turn the handle so the rope design faces up e While holding the handle flat as shown slide the handle onto the back of the square post e Align the holes in the handle with the holes in the square post Do not slide the handle down onto the top of the square post it will not fit properly on 2 1 the post Assembly e Pull on the 437 cap nut to make sure the handle is secure Hint You may want the help of another adult to support the handle axle while you tap the cap nut with a hammer Handle Axle e While continuing to hold the handle flat slide the handle axle through the hole in handle the holes in the square post and out through the hole on the other side e Remove the plastic strips from the mane of the handle e Dispose of the plastic strips properly e Arrange the shorter hair over the forehead to form the pony s bangs e Fit a 437 cap nut ont

11. and out through the hole on the other side of the vehicle body Assembly Washer _e Lock Nut Bottom View e Fit the other washer and then the lock nut on the end of the bolt Bottom View e Using pliers hold one end of the bolt steady and tighten the lock nut on the end of the bolt Do not over tighten Be sure the threads on the bolt are flush with the side of the lock nut Hint You may want the help of another adult to hold one of the pliers while you tighten the lock nut with the other pliers Bottom View e Position the floorboard so that the smooth side is facing up e Fit the ends of the floorboard up through the opening in the vehicle body floor as shown Floorboard Top View e From the inside of the assembly insert four 8 x 3 4 screws through the holes in the floorboard and into the vehicle body e Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver Do not over tighten Assembly Pony Head Pieces Floorboard Flap e r e Insert five 8 x 3 4 screws through the holes in the right side of the pony head and into the left side of the pony head e Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver Do not over tighten Fold the tab on the floorboard down e Align the hole in the floorboard tab with the hole in the vehicle body e Insert a 8 x 4 screw through the hole in the floorboard tab and into the hole in the vehicle body e Tighten

Battery battery compartment as shown Compartment Motor Battery Harness Connector Connector e The battery compartment is located under the seat of your vehicle e Using a Phillips screwdriver loosen the screws in the back of the seat the screws will remain in the seat Remove the seat from the vehicle body e Squeeze the battery clamp arms together and lower the battery clamp over the battery Be sure the battery clamp arms fit into the slots in the vehicle body e Plug the battery connector and motor harness connector together Push firmly to snap the two connectors together e Re assemble the seat to your vehicle e Insert the tabs on the front of the seat into the slots inside the vehicle body e Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver Do not over tighten e Locate the battery clamp in the battery compartment e Squeeze the battery clamp arms together and pull up The battery clamp arms will be released from the slots in the vehicle body Battery Care and Disposal Battery Care and Disposal Care If a battery leak develops avoid contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged battery in a plastic bag See information below for proper disposal lf acid comes in contact with skin or eyes flush with cool water for at least 15 minutes and call a physician If acid is internally ingested give water milk of magnesia or egg whites immediately Never give emetics or induce vomiting
