BH3699 UM_07ESM1 qxd 5 10 07 16 29 Page 1 SETTING THE THERMOSTAT 1 Turn the Mode Switch to or ll and the Thermostat to the highest setting allow the heater to warm up the room 2 When the desired comfort level is reached slowly lower the Thermostat just enough to stop the heater 3 The heater automatically turns ON and OFF to maintain the selected comfort level 4 The Temperature light turns on and off as heater cycles to indicate that the heater is maintainning the selected comfort level 5 The Power light illuminates when the heater is plugged into the outlet NOTE It is normal for the heater to cycle ON and OFF as it maintains the selected comfort level To prevent the unit from cycling you need to raise the thermostat setting CLEANING MAINTENANCE During Season Care Always unplug the heater before moving or cleaning 1 Carefully wipe the unit with a soft damp cloth Please be very cautious near the motor and heating elements 2 NEVER use abrasive or flammable solvents to clean the unit 3 After cleaning be sure to completely dry the unit with a cloth or towel After Season Care 1 Store heater in a cool dry location TROUBLESHOOTING If your heater fails to operate e Make sure the electrical outlet or circuit breaker is working e Check for obstructions If you find an obstruction turn the heater OFF and UNPLUG THE UNIT Carefully remove the obstruction and follow the reset i
