5. is unit draws 12 5 Amps NOTE This unit is for FLOOR USE ONLY e There may be an odor Sil from the heater the first time you use it This is normal during the break in period Make sure the heater is in a well ventilated area and continue running it until the small goes away e You may hear a popping or crackling sound as the heater heats up This is normal and safe operation Once the heater heats up the crackling sound will go away Figure 2 A Mode switch B Power light C Temperature light D Thermostat knob SETTING THE THERMOSTAT 1 Turn the Mode Knob to LO or HI and the Thermostat to the highest setting allow the heater fo warm up the room 2 When the desired comfort level is reached slowly lower the Thermostat just enough to stop the heater 3 The heater automatically turns ON and OFF to maintain the selected comfort level 4 The Temperature light turns on and off as the heater cycles to indicate that the heater is maintaining the selected comfort level 5 The Power light illuminates when the heater is plugged into the outlet NOTE It is normal for the heater to cycle ON and OFF as it maintains the selected comfort level To prevent the unit from cycling you need to raise the thermostat setting e On high setting the fan will operate on low setting the fan will not operate AUTO SAFETY SHUT OFF This heater is equipped with a patented technologically advanced safety system that automatically
