The call is sent to the extension or number you dialed A two second display message indicates the transfer is complete 7 Remain on the line and announce the call if the line is busy or if no one answers return to the held call by pressing the Call Appearance Feature button on which it is being held Press l9 Transfer again The call is sent to the extension or number you dialed A two second display message indicates the transfer is complete 10 Hang up your handset Conference The number of conferences available is dependent on the IP Office unit set up on your system Adding another party to a call Dial the first party then press amp Conference 2 heline display area changes to white text with a dark gray background The current call is placed on hold the Soft Hold icon displays and you hear a dial tone 3 Dial the number of the next party and wait for an answer Press CC Conference again to add the new party to the call Repeat Steps 1 3 for each party you want to conference in to the call Adding a held call to the current call Press IE Conference The icon on the current line changes to the Soft Hold icon Press the L gt Call Appearance Feature button corresponding to the held call Press the ECE Conference button again A IN All parties are now connected Dropping yourself from the conference 1 Press the amp Drop button 2 Disconnects the line on which the drop button is pres
4. option is set to Yes the phone screen appears in the display area when you answer a call regardless of the screen you were working with at that time You will lose any unsaved work in progress on that screen for example labeling a Speed Dial button except for the Web Access application which remembers the current web screen When the Phone Screen on Answer option is set to No the default setting answering an incoming call has no impact on the application screen displayed although the top display line will provide an appropriate message To change Phone Screen on Answer 4 Press Option and select L Application Options 5 Select L Phone Screen on Answer It will toggle between Yes and No 6 Select Save To restore the previous setting without changing it press gt Cancel Phone Screen on Calling This action controls the phone screen display when you make a call When the Phone Screen on Calling option is set to Yes the default setting the phone screen appears in the display area when you make a call regardless of the screen you were working with at that time You will lose any unsaved work in progress on that screen for example labeling a Speed Dial button When the Phone Screen on Calling option is set to No answering an incoming call has no impact on the application screen displayed although the top display line will provide an appropriate message To change Phone Screen on Calling 1 Press x Opt
5. to re direct the calls back to your own extension before you return to it At your own extension e 14 N from your own extension e 14 to cancel either feature from your own extension 4620 5620 Phone User Guide Page 30 IP Office Issue 2f 6th December 2005 System Features Do Not Disturb You may choose to receive no calls at all or only those from particular callers on your exceptions list To switch Do Not Disturb on off with or without exceptions e Dial 08 and to switch it off dial 09 or Dial 10 N to add a number to the exception list or e Dial 11 N to delete a number from the exception list Note Your callers other than your exceptions either hear busy tone or are re directed to your voicemail Voicemail Note that not all systems support voicemail or have voicemail installed e o switch voicemail on dial 18 to switch it off dial 19 e To retrieve your voicemail use the code 17 Your voicemail may be set up to deliver your messages by calling you whenever you hang up this feature is known as Voicemail Ringback e To turn Voicemail Ringback on dial 48 to turn it off dial 49 Dialing a number while listening to your messages invokes further facilities Once messages have been delivered they are held on the system for 24 hours this is fixed for Voicemail Lite but can be varied by your System Administrator if your IP Office is equipped with VoicemailPro You can collect your voicemai

18. name 4 Continue as per a normal call Page 13 4620 5620 Phone User Guide Issue 2f 6th December 2005 IP Office 5620user Adding a Speed Dial from the Call Log You can create a new speed dial from a call log entry See To Turn a Log Entry into a Speed Dial This process will start the normal speed entry screen but pre filled with the name and number from the call log entry Editing a Speed Dial 1 Press gt SpDial to display the speed dial directory e If SpDial is not shown you may have to press Phone Exit to exit the current screen function 2 he symbol is shown if there is more than one page of speed dials You can move between pages using the a Page Left and Page Right keys Go to the page containing the speed dial to edit Press gt Edit Press the L or key next to the speed dial to edit The editing process is similar to adding a new speed dial see Adding a New Speed Dial e When editing an existing speed dial a L Delete option is provided to remove the speed dial from the speed dial directory When selected press gt Delete to confirm or lt gt Cancel to exit without deleting Deleting a Speed Dial 1 Press lt gt SpDial to display the speed dial directory e If SpDial is not shown you may have to press iPhone Exit to exit the current screen function 2 he symbol is shown if there is more than one page of speed dials You can move between pages using the Page Left

20. 620 Phone User Guide Page 34 IP Office Issue 2f 6th December 2005 Web Browsing Entering Data Some web pages may require you to enter data into a text field and then submit that data For example if you browse to a search engine web site like Google you may be asked to enter a search field e Option Radio Buttons These allow you to select an option from a list by clicking on the adjacent left hand L gt key The selected option appears as e Text Entry Fields These normally appear as Enter text here or pre filled with some data e Submit Buttons Text entry and option key selections are not completed until submitted Normally this will be done by a link using a L or key labeled as Submit or similar The exact appearance will vary between different web pages To enter text into a text entry field 1 Press the left hand L key adjacent to the text entry field 2 The four lt keys at the bottom of the screen change to e DONE Press this lt gt key when your text entry is complete e BKSP Press this lt gt to key delete the previous character e SPACE Press this lt gt key to add a space e alpha This indicates the current text entry mode in this example lower case letters Press the gt key to select a different text entry mode 3 Begin entering text using the telephone keypad Each key is marked with the letters it provides You may have to press the key more than once

AA Page Buttons Navigation Icon Buttons These appear on the right hand side of the web display Note that they may appear grayed out when not useable 2Up Page Press the adjacent key to move up the page by one screen six lines Up Line Press the adjacent key to move up the page by one line fiHome Press the adjacent lt key to return to the default WAP website s home page CiRefresh Press the adjacent key to reload the current page If you had already selected another page to load this will cancel the loading of that page and reload the current page Down Line Press the adjacent key to move down the page by one line Down Page Press the adjacent key to move down the page by one screen six lines Link Buttons The L keys at the left hand edge of the screen are used to select links within the displayed web page Links are indicated by underlined text Only one link will appear on a line and pressing the adjacent L gt key will activate that link Page Buttons The lt gt keys across the base of the web display may be used to provide labeled links to other pages If there are more than 3 such links the right hand lt key will be labeled as More press this key to display the additional options Phone Icon If the icon appears next to a link in the web page it indicates that the link is a telephone number Pressing the adjacent L key to select the link will dial the number 4620 5
