8. 3 Configure the following e Brightness e Contrast e Hue e Saturation 31 aJ Videos Mode 980x480 Brightness Contrast Saturation Camera color adjust settings 4 Scroll up down to increase decrease the value for the selected option 9 Right click to save your settings and 1 return to the Camera menu Configuring the Covert Setting Hidden Cameras The Covert setting allows you to hide cameras on the DVR so users cannot see them Cameras that are hidden using the Covert setting can only be viewed remotely i e through a local network or the Internet by the ADMIN account NOTE It is highly recommended to enable passwords when using the Covert settings If passwords arenotenabled then anyone can change Covert settings and un hide the cameras If passwords are enabled only the ADMIN and USER2 accounts can change Covert settings To configure Covert settings From the Camera Menu click Covert under the camera you would like to hide un hide 2 Move the cursor to the camera you would like to hide un hide and scroll up down to change the Covert settings e X Visible Covert OFF e O Hidden Covert ON Right click until you have exited all menus to save your settings Changing the Camera Title Display From the Camera Menu click Camera Title Type Scroll up down to select the type of label that you would like to appear above your cameras e E THI

Displays the name of the camera You can create custom titles for your cameras using the Client Software or DVR Netviewer For details see Creating Custom Camera Titles on page 71 e 1 Displays the channel number e 7 Displays no title Right click to save your settings and return to the Main Menu Changing the Sequence Dwell Time Sequence time refers to the amount of time a channel appears on the screen before changing to a different channel when the DVR Is in Sequence view For example when Sequence view is on channel 1 is shown for several seconds before switching to channel 2 To change sequence time From the Camera Menu click Sequence Time Scroll up down to adjust the sequence duration e To enter Sequence view click cy inthe menu bar from Viewing mode Right click to save your settings and return to the Main Menu us Video h Mode Using the Main Menu Changing the Camera Input Mode EDGE3 Only The Video In Mode Is used to select if your DVR inputs video from cameras in wide screen formats such as 960H 960x480 or standard formats such as 720x480 By default the system is set to input all cameras in 960H format 960H will enable larger wide screen formats but it will decrease the number of Frames Per Second available for recording It is recommended to select 720x480 if you do not have cameras that are 960H capable To change the camera input mode From the came
