1. Los troncos deben cortarse con extremos cuadrados antes de cortarlos Usar la cortadora de troncos durante el dia o bajo una buena luz artificial Para evitar lesiones personales o dafios ala propiedad se debe ser muy precavido al manejar la gasolina La gasolina es extremadamente inflamable y los vapores son explosivos Pueden ocurrir lesiones personales graves cuando se derrama gasolina sobre el operador o sus ropas ya que puede encenderse Lavarse la piel y cambiarse de ropas inmediatamente a Usarun recipiente aprobado de gasolina solamente b Apagar todos los cigarrillos cigarros pipas y otras fuentes de combusti n Nunca se debe cargar gasolina bajo techo d Nunca extraer la tapa de gasolina o agregar combustible mientras el motor est caliente o funcionando e Antes de cargar gasolina permitir que el motor se enfr e por dos minutos por lo menos f Nunca llenar en exceso el tanque de gasolina Llenar el tanque a no m s de 1 2 pulgada por debajo de la secci n inferior del cuello del llenador para proveer espacio para la expansi n del combustible g Volver a colocar la tapa del tanque de gasolina y ajustar bien h Sise derrama gasolina limpiar con un trapo la m quina y el equipo y mover la m quina a otra rea 2 Esperar 5 minutos antes antes de arrancar el motor i No almacenar nunca la m quina o el recipiente de combustible bajo techo donde haya una llama expuesta chispas o llama piloto como

Para drenar el aceite Drenar el aceite mientras el motor est caliente Seguir las instrucciones de abajo Extraer el tap n del drenaje de aceite y la varilla medidora de aceite Colectar el aceite en un recipiente apropiado Cuando el motor se ha drenado de todo el aceite volver a colocar bien el tap n de drenaje Lienarcon aceite fresco usando el grado recomendado Volver a colocar la varilla medidora Servicio del filtro de aire El filtro de aire evita el ingreso al carburador de suciedad polvo etc perjudiciales y evita que los mismos sean introducidos dentro del motor Adem s dicho filtro es importante para la vida til y el rendimiento del motor cionamiento el motor sin haber montado T ADVERTENCIA No ponga nunca en fun totalmente el filtro de aire e H gale un servicio al cartucho cada 25 horas de funcionamiento o todas las temporadas Realice el servicio del cartucho con m s frecuencia si est expuesto a mucho polvo Servicio del filtro de aire Afloje el tomillo de la cubierta del filtro de aire pero no saque dicho tornilla de la cubierta Gire la cubierta hacia abajo para sacarla de la bisagra Revise el filtro para detectar la presencia de decoloraci n o de acumulaci n de suciedad Si detecta alguna de las condiciones mencionadas proceda de la siguiente manera Limpie exhaustivamente el interior del cuerpo y de la cubierta y saque el cartucho Vuelva a ensamblar el cartuc

17. called gasohol or using ethanol or methanol can attract moisture which leads to separation and formation of acids during storage Acidic gas can damage the fuel system of an engine while in storage Drain the fuel tank Always drain fuel into approved container outdoors away from open flame Be sure the engine is cool Do not smoke while handling the fuel Start the engine and let it run until the fuel lines and carburetor are empty 14 Never use engine or carburetor cleaner products in the fuel tank or permanent damage may occur Use fresh fuel next season Remove spark plug pour approximately 1 2 oz of engine oil into cylinder and crank slowly to distribute oil Replace spark plug NOTE Fuel stabilizer is an acceptable alternative in minimizing for formation of fuel gum deposits during storage Piease follow the instructions below for storing your jog splitter with fuel and stabilizer in the engine Add stabilizer to gasoline in fuel tank or storage container Always follow the mix ratio found on stabilizer container Runengine at least 10 minutes after adding stabilizer to allow the stabilizer to reach the carburetor Do not drain the gas tank and carburetor if using fuel stabilizer Drain all the oil from the crankcase this should be done after the engine has been operated and is still warm and refill the crankcase with fresh oil Other Do not store gasoline from one season to anoth
