4. 1 978 374 4530 or toll free at 1 800 544 5587 Driver s Touch Control Operation Guide Optional Equipment Driver s Touch Control Driver Panel Overview The Driver Touch Control Panel offers the ability to hide features from the passenger menu by deactivating the feature and hiding the button from the passenger when necessary It also allows full access to all of the passenger control features through the passenger menu button To power the system the driver must accept the responsibility by pressing yes on the Driver Control After a few seconds the main board and rear control panel will be active The Clock is replaced by a battery level indicator to notify the driver of a low voltage condition When the battery is low the clock will be replaced by LOW BATT indicator requesting the driver to act If this condition continues stalling may occur the driver should increase the idle if possible or shut off rear features until a normal level is reached if the driver does not act then the rear cabin air conditioning fans will be shut down automatically until the system returns to normal levels 10 9 14 AM Driver s Main Menu SUNROOF INTERCOM STEREO DIVIDER 9 14 AM SUNROOF INTERCOM Low Batt INTERCOM STEREO PASSENGER DIM DISPLAY Le DIVIDER SET CLOCK COLOR SHUTDOWN The Clock is replaced by a battery level indicator to n

Press up to increase airflow down to decrease airflow The A C or heat is set from it s last position and can only be changed from the rear Control Panel Users Guide Passenger Standard Equipment Passenger s Lighting Control Panel Rear control panel features indicated with are overridden by the drivers master control panel located in the front compartment These features as well as the rear stereo may be deactivated at the driver s discretion Dome Light This button controls the rear dome lights Press and hold up and the dome light s come on and press and hold down to turn the dome light s off Accent Lights This button controls the accent or fiber optic lights in the console and above ACCENT the windows These lights are dimmed LIGHT when the down button is pressed and brightened when the up button is pressed V Floor Lights This button controls the rear floor lights Press up and the floor lights come on and down to turn the floor lights off The floor lights also come on automatically when the rear doors are open Console Lights This button controls the lights in the A console to provide light for easy viewing of glassware and coolers at night These lights are dimmed when the down button is pressed and brightened when the up button is pressed CONSOLE LIGHT Sunroof SUNROOF This button controls the sunroof pressing the up arrow will open the sunroof and

Touch Control Operation Guide Optional Equipment Passenger Panel Overview The driver has full access to the passenger controls from the driver panel When the driver adjusts passenger features his her actions will be displayed on the rear controls This is to assist the passengers with navigating the Touch Control s many features Climate Control Menu The Climate Control Menu adjusts the climate in the rear cabin and activates the intercom A C This button activates the rear air conditioning Press this button to activate the rear air conditioning press it again to turn the air conditioning off The green light indicates air conditioning is on You may also switch directly to heat by pressing the heat button which will automatically turn off the air conditioning It may take the system a few minutes to completely circulate the heat out of the system when switching from heat Passenger s Touch Control panel to A C Heat This button activates the rear heat Press this button to activate the rear heat press it again to turn the heat off The green light indicates heat is on You may also switch directly to A C by pressing the A C button which will automatically turn off the heat HEAT CLIMATE Blower BLower This button adjusts the rear fan speed Pressing the up button adjusts the fan speed faster for more passenger cooling or heat and pressing the down button adjusts the fan speed lower
7. effects there are multiple effects depending upon the initial set up of the system Refer to page 18 of this manual Operating the LED Fiber Illuminator to change your systems setup Auxiliary Battery AUXILIARY BATTERY Your MKT is equipped with battery saver 5 MOLD technology It does not require the use of the Auxiliary Battery button to activate it If the courtesy lamps domes lamps or headlamps are left on the battery saver will shut them off 10 minutes after the ignition has been turned off If you shut off the engine and leave the ignition in the on or accessory mode the ignition will shut off after 30 minutes Keep the limousine power panel in the off position when not in use to improve battery life Auxiliary On Off Aux This button is reserved for future or additional features Sun Roof This button operates rear cabin sunroof Press and hold up to open and press and hold down to close Glass Divider A This button operates the clear glass divider Press and hold up GLASS DIVIDER SUNROOF to raise and press and hold down to lower Privacy Divider This button operates the solid privacy A divider Press and hold up to raise and PRIVACY press and hold down to lower DIVIDER Rear Fan This button operates the rear fan for climate control in rear compartment Once rear system is activated the rear fan velocity can be adjusted from the driver control panel

ER TV This button is an optional button that replaces the glass divider button when the limousine is equipped with the retractable TV Pressing the up button will raise the flat panel TV and pressing the down button conceals the TV Intercom On Off This button turns on the rear to front hands free intercom Pressing the button will activate the intercom and will illuminate the green indicator light With the light on speak freely toward the button to communicate with the driver Press the button again to shut off the two way intercom INTERCOM ON 2 A FF Factory Rear Heat AC Control This panel controls the original equipment rear Heat and AC The driver must allow the rear panel to control the rear heat by pressing CLIMATE REAR REAR CONTROL on the drivers display This will light up the rear panel and the rear passenger will have full control There is a floor and ceiling setting as well as high low fan speed and automatic temperature control see detailed instructions next page NOTE The manual heater control valve optional must be in the open or on position and the Royale heat must be on for the Factory Rear Heat to function Rear control panel features can be overridden by the driver s master control panel Factory Rear Heater AC Control Your MKT is equipped with two independent rear HVAC systems one is added by Royale and the other is the OEM system installed by Lincoln The Royale system

19. ls the mechanical features of your limousine including the dividers and sunroof DIVIDER SUNROOF J Privacy Divider This button controls the privacy divider pressing the up arrow will raise the divider and pressing down arrow will lower the divider Glass Divider This button controls the glass divider pressing the up arrow will raise the divider and pressing down arrow will lower the divider Glass dividers are not available in some models Sun Roof This button controls the sunroof pressing the up arrow will open the sunroof and pressing the down arrow will close the sunroof Be sure to completely close the sunroof for a tight seal to avoid water leaking into the limousine A SUNROOF fl 16 Advanced Lighting and Fan Speed Features User programmable start up features are available by adjusting the DIP switches located on the main circuit board upper left corner labeled OPTIONS the operator may change how the rear lighting and fan speeds are initiated on vehicle start up Factory preset Fan Speed DIP 1 Set in On position adjusts the fan speed to ON at start up DIP 1 Set in Off position adjusts the FAN Speed to Off at start up Accent and Console Lights DIP2 Setin On position adjusts the Accent and Console lights ON at start up DIP2 Setin Off position adjusts the Accent and Console lights Off at start up dip switch
20. n the passenger display A green light indicates the rear system is active The actual function of this button is affected by the set up of the LED illuminator see page 18 Operating the LED fiber Illuminator SUNROOF This on off button allows the driver to shut off the passenger control of the sunroof By selecting off the sunroof will be shut off and the button will be deleted from the passenger menu Select on and the sunroof is returned to normal and the button reappears on the passenger display A green light indicates the sunroof is active 11 Sunroof Passenger _ PASSENGER J This button allows the driver to control all passenger functions please refer to passenger functions reference guide on page 11 for details When the driver presses a button in this menu the rear passenger control will follow along allowing the driver to assist the passenger in navigating through the menus Dim Display This button allows the driver to dim or brighten the display Follow the easy to read menu to adjust the display Set Clock This button allows the driver to reset the clock Follow the easy to read menu to reset the clock DIM DISPLAY SET CLOCK Shut Down SHUTDOWN This button allows the driver to shut down the entire system when not in use This is always a good idea to conserve resources and charge the battery The clock will still display in shut down mode Passenger s
21. nd an electric operated heater control valve The manual valve was installed to ensure maximum performance of your air conditioning system during times of high ambient temperatures The manual valve will shut off flow of all hot water to the heat exchanger located in the heating cooling system servicing the rear passenger cabin Accidental flow of hot water into the system either by the electric valve leaking or inadvertent activation of the heater control by a passenger or driver will be eliminated by using the manual heater control valve To shut hot water flow off during high temperature conditions turn the manual heater valve to the OFF position see picture B below During cooler temperature conditions turn the manual heater control valve to the ON position see picture C below Picture A manual heater control valve is located behind drivers seat Picture B manual valve in off position stops hot water flow Picture c manual valve in on position allows hot water flow Rear Heat Operation requires both the manual and electric valves to be open The manual valve is opened manually see above and the electric valve is opened by turning on the Royale heat This allows free flow of hot water and both the factory rear and Royale heat will work The system will function properly between heat and air conditioning with the valve in the ON position but it should be reset to OFF during extended periods of high ambient tem
