INFORMAZIONI GENERALI Questo manuale spiega come installare il programma di controllo e come usare il vostro programmatore Si assume che l utente abbia una minima esperienza con il PC e l installazione di software sebbene il capitolo AVVIO RAPIDO vi potr guidare passo dopo passo attraverso l intero processo di installazione Una volta installato il programma di controllo vi consigliamo di consultare l help in linea sensibile al contesto piuttosto che il Manuale Utente poich le revisioni vengono introdotte prima nel programma che nel Manuale Tutti i programmatori qui descritti funzionano con quasi tutti i PC compatibili IBM dall XT al Pentium Pro Non si richiede alcuna scheda di interfaccia speciale per il collegamento col PC poich 1 programmatori si collegano tramite la porta parallela stampante del PC Tutti i programmatori funzionano correttamente con sistemi che hanno installati DOS Windows 3 x Windows 95 98 e Windows NT 2000 Tutti i programmatori sono controllati mediante un programma facile da usare con men a tendina tasti scorciatoia e help in linea Vi sono due versione del programma di controllo PG4U per DOS PG4UW per Windows 95 98 NT 2000 Il programma di controllo comune per tutti i programmatori UEP 48 32 AVR 51 e SEEP CONVENZIONI E TERMINOLOGIA Vengono usati in questo manuale alcune convenzioni e termini speciali CONVENZIONI I riferimenti alle funzioni del program

ITALIAN TECHNOLOGY RISOLUZIONE DEI PROBLEMI Il prodotto ed il materiale impiegato per costruirlo sono di ottima qualit Nonostante ci se doveste sperimentare dei problemi rileggete attentamente la documentazione contenuta in questo manuale probabilmente vi troverete la risposta cercata Se cos non fosse seguite le istruzioni qui sotto ERRORI DI COMUNICAZIONE Il programmatore deve essere alimentato correttamente il LED verde di alimentazione deve essere sempre acceso l alimentatore deve essere quello fornito in dotazione Per verificare l integrit fisica del cavo di alimentazione provate a piegarlo leggermente dove si collega al programmatore e vedete se succede qualcosa Aggiornate il programma di cotrollo spesso una versione pi recente migliora le caratteristiche di comunicazione Consultate il capitolo NUOVE VERSIONI DEL PROGRAMMA DI CONTROLLO per ulteriori informazioni Il programmatore va collegato direttamente alla porta parallela non ci devono essere data switch n chiavi hardware n replicatori di porte tra PC e programmatore La porta parallela va dedicata totalmente al programmatore sotto Windows non va condivisa in rete n usata per una stampante La porta parallela dove collegato il programmatore deve essere configurata come Centronics compatibile Questa impostazione si pu effettuare solo da dentro il BIOS del computer la porta deve essere configurata in modo compatibile o sta
