Barcode Scanner Version 2 attached to Ziath 2D barcode scanner The appropriate bracket for the scanner needs to be attached to the scanner This has a strong magnet to accurately locate the linear scanner This does not need a driver simply attach the scanner to a USB port DataPaq User Guide Page 11 of 70 Registration Automatic Registration The first time the software is run it will prompt for a licence key with the following user interface Please provide the following details Software Licence key Activate software now Cancel software activation Figure 4 Licence Registration Dialogue Ensure that the computer is connected to the internet and enter the licence key enclosed with the scanner Click Activate software now and DataPaq will attempt to register the installation If DataPaq cannot connect to the licence server perhaps due to a local security restriction on your system for example it will prompt for manual registration Manual Registration If the following window appears there is a problem registering the licence automatically this is usually caused by security software on the computer UN Install Sofware License lt Back No internet connection detected Please check that your computer is connected to the internet and that your local security settings are not blocking access from this program If you are NOT able to fix this problem you may proceed by pressing the Manual
