12. e damage Personal safety equipment such as antiskid foot wear and floating garments are mandatory when working on and by the cage for instance when working on the rotor spreader To avoid damages to equipment and injuries to personnel during installation maintenance and other tasks performed to the Idema Under water Lights all instructions provided from AKVA group in this manual must be followed Current laws for the country where the equipment is being used also have to be followed Installation and maintenance manual Underwater lights Document no DC10000864 Page 5 of 31 AKVAGRour 1 4 Product and eguipment safety All eguipment must be treated as described in this manual The parts mentioned in this chapter are critical components and poor treatment of these as well as neglecting safety instructions may cause damages to the entire product and surrounding equipment 1 4 1 Suspensions Make sure that ropes are not in touch with other equipment or other ropes inside the cage such as the rotor spreader camera or sensor suspensions and cables This avoids interfering damages during bad weather and gnawing 1 4 2 Luminaire and glass Always control that the luminaire is complete and free of any damage before it is used The luminaire must be fully submerged in water prior to ignition Overheated glass can start to crack if it is exposed to rapid cooling 1 4 3 Cable The cable must be damage free when it is conn
