Annotator Device Interface E Revision 8 30 2010 Communication Sheet WACM _42_0009_1 pku This document provides additional assistance with wiring and configuring the Extron Annotator to your device Different components may require a different wiring scheme than those listed below For complete operating instructions refer to the user s manual for the specific Extron product or the controlled device manufacturer supplied documentation Device Specifications Device Type Touch Tablet Manufacturer Wacom Firmware Version N A Model s CTE 650 Version History Driver Annotator SPPCP Version Date Firmware Version Notes 1 8 27 2010 1 02 3 0 0 Initial version Driver Notes Calibration is required before any touch information is properly recognized by the Annotator Use the calibration cutout at the end of this document to correctly align the tablet during calibration Models Tested CTE 650 Page 1 of 3 Annotator Device Interface Revision 8 30 2010 Communication Sheet WACM _42_0009_1 pku Calibration Tools and Instructions The touch accuracy can be calibrated using the Calibrate Panels setting in the Advanced configuration menu Within the Advanced configuration menu press Next to cycle to Calibrate Panels Press size and observe the touch panel screen A cross appears in the upper left corner Tap the screen at the cross which then moves to the top right corner Tap the second cr2. oss This moves to the bottom right corner Tap the third cross This moves to the bottom left corner Tap the fourth cross The unit saves the calibration data and restarts the sequence Repeat the process for each connected touch screen ArNIA Nn WN Press any front panel button to exit the sequence and save the data 1 2 4 3 Sequence of crosses for setting touch accuracy Cable and Adapter Requirements M M USB Type A to Type B General Notes Calibration Alignment Cutout Cut out the graphic below and place on the touch tablet to aide with alignment during the calibration process The cutout must line up with the writing area of the tablet NOTE When printing the document in Adobe Acrobat set Page Scaling to None to maintain the proper size of the graphic below Page 2 of 3 WACM _42_0009_1 pku Annotator Device Interface Revision 8 30 2010 Communication Sheet WACOM BAMBOO CALIBRATION OVERLAY Page 3 of 3 SS Cutout Line lines up with edge of writing surface Note Dimensions are based on Bamboo model C TE 650
