6. l mount 6 Powering on and off Powering on As delivered the screen will power up when the mains power is applied If it does not then press button 3 the LCD Screen on off button See section 7 To start the computer locate the Remote Control Fob and push the larger button on the left for 1 second and release or the red button below the touch control panel and press it once briefly The computer will start and the LCD panel will come on A few seconds after the equipment starts up the windows logo will be displayed No further user intervention should be necessary as the screen is shipped in a configuration such that the artwork animation will start operating automatically as soon as the computer has completed its initialisation To adjust the speaker volume up and down move the lever switch 9 left for down and right for up See section 7 Powering off WARNING Do not UNPLUG or SWITCH of the mains input supply to the screen as this can cause failure of the computer to START correctly Powering off when the artwork is running locate the Remote Control Fob and push the larger button on the left for 1 second and release or the red button below the touch control panel press the red button once briefly and the computer will shortly shut down and turn off then it is safe to switch off or unplug lf the computer is still initialising wait until the artwork is running before switching off or unplugging
7. op of the inner part of the template For solid wall of masonry with or without plaster use an 8mm drill 5 16 inch and drill two holes 45 mm 1 inches deep where the marks were made using the template 4 2 Hanging the Screen For walls made from wooden stud work covered with plasterboard dry walling the fixings provided are not suitable for fixing directly to the plasterboard lf the studwork is in the opinion of the installer is strong enough to support the weight of the screen the fixings provided can be used provided that the screws are fixed through the plasterboard directly into the wooden studwork In this case plastic plugs are not required If an electric screwdriver is used the screws provided can be screwed directly into the wood without a pilot hole Use the screws to fix the wall mount to the wall Don t screw them so tightly that it can t be levelled but do screw them so that it is snug against the wall The illustrations above are for landscape mounting but the portrait orientation is achieved in the same way only with the template rotated through 90 degrees 4 3 Levelling the wall mount Remove the M3 wing nuts and remove the inner part of the template and hang the outer part over the wall mount with the spirit level on lf the template is not level move the slotted end to bring it level The screws should now be tightened The template is removed and the screen is hung on the wal
