11. color 83 112 V1 1 Swatch Property Panel Swatches are colors that are defined by the user Colors can be process colors or spot colors Process colors can be defined in f CMYK or RGB colorspace If the document color mode is CMYK then process colors can only be defined in CMYK colorspace the document color mode is RGB then process colors can only be defined in RGB colorspace Substitution colors can also be defined for spot colors which can also be CMYK or RGB colors Again If the document color mode is CMYK then spot colors can only have substitution colors defined in CMYK colorspace If the document color mode is RGB then spot colors can only have substitution colors defined in RGB colorspace To set a swatch as the fill color first go to the Color panel or the Color tool in the Tool Bar to set the active color type to fill then go to the Swatch panel to select the swatch you want to use The selected swatch color will then be used as the current fill color To set a swatch as the stroke color first go to the Color panel or Color tool to set the current color type to stroke then go to the Swatch panel to select the swatch you want to use The selected swatch color will then be used as the active stroke color When the current text box is not in text entry mode typing the key w will switch focus to the Swatch panel Swatch None All existing swatches are listed in the Swatch panel For a document with color mode se
