59. ring    MEMO    TECHNOLOGY    Chapter 3        3 1 System Requirements  3 2 Installing PCNC Software  3 3 Uninstalling PCNC Software    3 4 Adding Device Driver    www fawoo com    3  Installing Software    3  Installing Software    3 1     This chapter describes how to begin the installation of the PCNC software  Before beginning the  install  ensure that your system meets the requirements described in the    System Requirements     section     System Requirements    PC Basics   The following list specifies the type of PC you should have to use our PCNC software   IBM PC or compatible PC with a Pentium Processor  300 MHz clock speed  System memory  RAM    64 MB  128MB recommended    Windows 95 or Windows 98   2GB disk space recommended    SVGA 17inch monitor   Keyboard   Mouse   2 button or 3 button  Microsoft Windows compatible     CD ROM drive   USB port for the USB communication    LAN card  Optional     3  Installing Software       3 2  Installing PCNC Software    This section describes how to start your PCNC software installation         Close all programs       To start the installation  insert the PCNC software CD into the CD ROM drive     Select Start     Run  Type d setup exe      the Open field of the Run window   If your CD     ROM drive 16 not  d  drive  substitute the appropriate drive designation      ei ES    Hun    resource  and Windows will open it for you                d setup exe             Type the name of    program  folder  document  or Internet    Ca

65. to users  Users who are not familiar to the wiring or the connection must refer to the    users manual of suitable servo driver  amp  motor and the connection specification  The servo driver    cable processes the pulse commands and the alarm signals  so it should be wired with the twisted    wire or multi core twisted pair shielded wire  The cable thickness should not be less than  AWG28  And the maximum length of the cable is 1 5M     Install the PCNC program in PC    Disconnect all power from the FWMC unit    Check whether all servo drives are turned off    Wire the connection for servo drive to FWMC unit     Execute the PCNC program in PC        Set system parameters on the System Parameters dialog box    To set and check the pulse output mode and related parameters of servo drives    Don t connect the cables to the connector when the power supply is on  Always connect the  cable to the connector after applying the power  Otherwise the FWMC unit may be damaged   Verify that servo drives are wired correctly with the manual moving and the position  monitoring in PC    Check in the PCNC program whether the actual position values change  If the values are not    corrected  there are problems in the installation for the PCNC program and servo drives     2  Installation and Wiring    2 7 2  Specifications        1  X axis    Beni        elim      2 5         NN                                      5P         bs            pue       pw  re  0              Os  min B   a
