12. nd remember it at all times as the software will have to be updated to restore the original setting if the password is lost An example can be seen in the following 123456H456789 means change the password 123456 to 456789 The letter H in this formula must be in capital form The default password for the GPS Tracker is 123456 SmartLink International Pty Ltd Page 9 www smartlink com au GPRS Settings In order to use the GPRS function the user needs to set up the IP Port and APN access point name by sending a variety of SMS commands Make sure that the SIM card in the tracker supports the GPRS function To set up the GPRS send an SMS containing password C APN to the tracker this will allow you to set up the APN All letters in this formula are case sensitive The APN can be acquired from your local GSM operators An example of this formula is 123456CTELSTRA INTERNET TELSTRA INTERNET is the APN for Telstra in Australia therefore the user must set their particular APN for their own country which the unit resides GPRS Password Set Up By sending an SMS of password O username password will allow the username and password to be set for the GPRS on the tracker e Some providers do not require a username or password so be sure to check with your particular provider e Anexample is as follows 123456Qwap wap The username will be wap and the password will be
