6. e connecting lines Ensure the connected load doesn t exceed the capacity of the Converter Please provide good grounding system Please use the nearest point of earth bar or switch box for GROUND line Please follow applicable NEC provisions and state local electrical codes Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if the grounding instructions are not completely understood 10 5 OPERATION 5 1 Check the Following Items Prior to Start Up 1 Make sure the Main Breaker and PUSH ON OFF switch are in the OFF position 2 Insure the Converter is in a suitable location 3 Check input cord is secured 4 Make sure the load is disconnected or in the OFF position 5 Check if input voltage meets the Converter requirement 5 2 Initial Start Up Procedure Please follow the instructions below to start the Converter 1 Be sure Main Breaker SWI SW3 and PUSH ON OFF switch SW4 are turned OFF and that no load is connected to the output terminals of Converter 2 Pull Main Breaker up to ON position LED of Input should light up simultaneously a E OE 3 Press PUSH ON OFF switch to the position ON LCD Display shall light up immediately to indicate the AC utility power and optional batteries are normal a AG OK BATOK 4 L 11 4 About 20 seconds later Output LED will also illuminate indicating Converter
