Threshold Ramps The Drive Medical Threshold Ramps are designed to carry a single user with wheelchair powerchair or scooter over the door threshold They have a safe working load SWL of 600lb or 272kg They are constructed from lightweight aluminium with a checkerplate gripped surface and two non slip edges The ramps have a width of 700mm 27 so are suitable for most doorways They are available in three lengths 600mm 800mm and 1000mm Operation Position the ramp in the doorway as shown in the diagram left Ensure the middle section of the ramp which is highest is positioned over the threshold obstacle Slowly drive the vehicle over the ramp If required remove the ramp to close the door Safety Precautions Only use the ramp on level ground Do not exceed the SWL safe working load of the ramp Ensure both ends of the ramp are touching the ground Ensure the ramp is regularly cleaned and the surface is not slippy Warranty The ramps come with a one year warranty from date of purchase In the event of manufacturing or design defect Drive Medical will supply replacement parts or product This does not cover accidental damage use error or wear and tear Any warranty claims should be directed through the dealer from whom you purchased the product Please see the Drive Medical website for full warranty terms and conditions Your statutory rights are not affected Drive Medical Ltd Ainley s Industrial Estate Elland2.
