3. ng issues with the scale Display 8 Controls SAFFRON UNIT Button 6 ON OFF TARE Button Weight Value Weight Graph Fractional Ounces GID Changing Units Press the UNIT button on the top of the scale to change the displayed weighing unit see chart below Pound Ounce fractional ounces Milliliter Fluid Ounce SAFFRON The scale will default to the unit you choose the next time you use the scale 6 Basic Weighing SAFFRON Press the ON OFF TARE key 6 to turn the scale on Place the item s to be weighed on the center of the circular weighing platform Once the scale has stabilized the weight will be displayed on the LCD The scale has an auto off feature that will turn the scale off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity Tare Weighing You can use the Tare feature to subtract the weight of a bowl or container Place an empty bowl or container on the scale then press the Tare key The display will reset to zero Add the item s to be weighed to the bowl and read the result on the display The weight of the bowl or container subtracts from the available capacity ie If you use a 200g bowl you will only have a remaining 4800g of capacity left SAFFRON SAFFRON DO use a dry soft cloth to wipe off dust DO use a wet soft cloth dipped into water and wrung out to remove dirt Then use a dry soft cloth to dry up the device DON T wash th
