The VPM Varying Permeability Model implemented on the Furyo dive computer is the VPM B which integrates the latest modifications done by Baker The decompression calculations of the VPM are based even on the presence and formation of microbubbles in the tissues It is possible to act on the conservatism of the algorithm by setting the critical bubble radius RO which is unique both for Nitrogen and Helium The third algorithm is a combination of VPM assisted by Buehlmann ZHL16B which is named VPM BUL or V B In this mode the main decompression algorithm is VPM however in background Buehlmann is running If during the ascent the difference on the stop depth or stop times are much more different as the tolerance specified with the parameter Thresh Idx the computer will switch to the Buehlmann ZHL16B decompression profile The ASM Adaptive Sigmoidal Model is integrated in all decompression algorithms This model enhances the decompression calculations by optimizing repetitive dives deco profiles maintaining however a high safety level The integration of this model is particularly important when performing more dives a day for different consecutive days In repetitive dives with a surface interval shorter than two hours the ASM has a higher effect on decompression time in the following dive FURYO Dive System Diving Computer Manual Version 2 06 English Page 10 Dive System FURYO Dive Computer The Violation Control System is respo
