6. atch a DVD when this connection is not made Slide the unit fully into the sleeve to automatically lock it in place Snap fit the trim bezel to the unit Fit the monitor front panel to the chassis as described in the user manual page 12 Turn the remote control over to reveal the battery compartment Use your thumb to slide the compartment cover in the direction of the embossed symbol on the cover and then lift the cover up and away Place the battery in the circular recess so that the on the battery is on top Push the battery down fully into the recess and then gently release it It should be held in place by the mechanism in the recess Lower the cover into the position from where it was previously removed and gently push down until it clicks into place Use your thumb to slide the compartment cover to the closed position until it clicks closed Turn on the car ignition Press the POWER on off switch The front panel control legends will illuminate and the unit will initialise in Radio mode On the initial power up stations will not be tuned in and a hiss will be heard in the speakers Turn the volume control to lower the hiss Press the MUTE button to turn off the hiss Press the MUTE button again to restore the sound Momentarily press POWER on off to step to the next mode Repeat to view the opening page of other available modes and return to Radio mode in the default Band FM1 Repeatedly press BAND on the
