25. and the processing of the other pins by referring to the user s manual of the target device Check if the following set values match the actual writing environment by selecting the Device Setup menu Clock supply source Vpp supply source Communication mode to be used Parameter file etc Check to see if the CPU clock and communication clock are within the range of the specifications of the target device When UART is used communication may not be synchronized due to a baud rate error of the target device In this case change the CPU clock or baud rate or change the communication mode to SIO User s Manual U15260EJ4VOUM CHAPTER 6 PG FP4 OPERATION IN STANDALONE MODE The PG FP4 has a standalone mode in which the PG FP4 itself can execute the Erase Program and Verify commands without a host This mode is useful for using the PG FP4 on the production line during mass production and for upgrading the version at a customer s site In the standalone mode the PG FP4 uses the flash programming parameters stored in the internal EEPROM area Therefore a new device cannot be selected for flash programming nor can the programming parameters be changed Programming can be done only in the environment set last in the GUI software operation mode In the standalone mode select and execute the command menu by using the control buttons Next Enter and Cancel at the upper part of the main unit of the PG FP4 Th
