KH TL 13 11 2006 1 How to use the Cochrane Occupational Health Field COHF Databases The Cochrane Occupational Health Field COHF has a database which contains COHF interventions and COHF reviews The database includes studies related to the prevention or treatment of occupational or work related disorders disability and injuries The database can be searched by using either Quick Search or Advanced Search All the material in the COHF database has been classified according to the study design used and the occupational health outcomes addressed into categories Al A4 and B1 B8 2 Searching references from COHF databases As mentioned before the Cochrane Occupational Health Field COHF database has two categories COHF interventions and COHF reviews You can search information from them separately or together Intervention studies have been collected into the COHF interventions database Reviews with OH occupational health outcomes B codes have been collected into the COHF reviews database For searching information from COHF databases you can use either e Quick Search only for searching the two categories the COHF interventions database and the COHF reviews database together at the same time or e Advanced Search for searching the categories separately or together Tips For searching information it is good to remember that there are two kinds of fields where to search for information Indexed fields and N
